- Finally broken the jinx of Tiger sighting in South India. Sighted a female Tiger just on Nagarhole Tiger Reserve road within 5 mins of starting the Safari. The day started with heavy rain and there were chances of safari getting cancelled but around 2pm the rain subsided and safari was right on. Everything else is history :).
Also sighted Tusker in water which was mesmerizing, Gaur, Sambar deers, Spotted deers, Barking deers, Strip necked mongoose, Langoors, Elephants with calves.
Overall what an amazing safari experience it was. Loved every bit.

Extremely delighted to see such a lovely safari vlog with full of ups and down! Lucky to spot a tiger (though looked physically weak to me may be due to hunger or lack of food) with elephants, mongoose so and so forth. Keep it up!
Thank you sir. It was a Mother tigress which has cubs. It was looking for a kill. May be not eaten for 4-5 Days and that’s normal for tigers
Where did you stayed for the trip
I stayed in a Homestay called Spice Glade for this trip which is 2 kms from Nanchi safari gate. There are many Homestays near by

Yes you can book Jeep Safari without staying in JLR. We did the same. This safari is from the other side of Nagarhole forest from Nanchi gate. You can use the below website to book your jeep safari seat

From Kakanakote, you can get bus safari from the below link

But now a days, many resorts and homestay arrange JLR jeep safari for 2500-3000 per seat. There is no online booking for jeep safari from Kakanakote though. Only resorts can book it for you
@@ExplorerNaba I never knew this. I just looked at the link given by you, booking by jeep is possible, cost for 3 adults for afternoon at Nanchi gate is only 6,726. They have not mentioned duration of safari. Is it for 2 1/2 hours as done by JLR or is it only for 1 1/2 hours? Kindly clarify.

@@payalsaha7113 Kabini is always considered better than Nanchi gate but it does not actually matter unless you are only going to the jungle for tigers. Both sides are equally good. You get lot more option of staying near Nanchi gate and within budget but Kabini side is little expensive

Yes there is bus safari from Nanchi gate but you need to book the ticket from the counter
