I interesting to buy your impulses of V30. I suppose is the pack VI 30? these ir are also in SDS IR Bundle #1. Please confirm me this. All captures on the video are good in terms of quality. I prefer V30, but the others are good also. It depends of your onw taste. For me these new speakers are focused to in crease the mids, I don’t know how to say it… Reminds me G25
You should absolutely make tab bundles of your demo riffs available to buy. They are always sick and I'd imagine a really good practice tool for when you want to learn something cool and quick without deep diving into a whole song. I'd buy 'em!
I think the cab the speakers are mounted in also makes a huge difference. And in reality the player was setting the amp to what he our she is hearing, so results would differ to some degree. All of them have their applications. Me personally have left the V30 behind a while ago.
In the mix the F70 sounds like it would be the easiest to work with. Lacks the mid peak that the V30 has that can make it overpower the mix. And as an alternative to the V30 it is my favorite here.
It's great that you can compare speakers in this system, without having to worry about the specifics of the cab. Don't you think the F70 would be more of a competitor to the DV-77, with a duller sound?
Well, when it comes to "dullness" or "brightness" we shouldn't forget that most amps also have treble and presence controls to compensate. I don't think the F70 is very dull tbh, just a different character
The V30 sounds very good, and I like the low-end of this speaker. The other speakers in this comparison sounded also good, but they are different. They have all their own character, and it would be interesting to blend these into the V30 sound or to use these in a 2x12 cabinet with a V30. My favourite is still the Celestion G12-65 Creamback, for my guitar sound.
When played on their own, they all sounded great. After the AB with the V30, I didn’t like the F60 or F70 as much. The F25 shined throughout in my opinion, very unique alternative
V30 is still king. The Fane F25 is a great sounding speaker tho, very similar to a V30, but the low mid frequencies are shifted lower to my ears and it's a bit softer in the high mids, yet has more top end sizzle than the V30. I think they might compliment eachother well. Have you ever tried Weber speakers? Those things freaking kill, would be sick to see a comparison vid of them.
Its awfully hard to beat Celestion speakers for almost anything. One V30 and one 65M creamback loaded 212. Will outperform nearly everything else. An Eminence Swamp Thang and Greenback loaded 212 would be my second choice. Works great for modern genre, fast yet tight sounds. Tundering lows, with crispy highs.Thats just what I've found works best for me. Peace.
the F25 sound very simular to the V30 but the F70 i like more because it have not such a sizzle boost at 4 khz .with the F70 can boost high freq to make them brighter and the 4 khz range get not even more louder
I'm still not a huge fan of alnico speakers, but of the Fane's, the F70 is probably my favorite out of the group (Of course, who doesn't like the V30). I'm curious about the F90, though; not a whole lot of demos out there for the speaker.
No, Randall doesn't have them anymore, but you should check out Eminence Governor or Eminence Legend V12 (probably the closest to original jags) Edit: Celestion G12T-75 are really close as well.
I feel like the Fanes would need something much brighter to work their best. Compared to the V30 they sound kinda muted...but then again sometimes the V30 is a bit too aggressive...
Short answer... Yes, any great speaker "COULD" dethrone the mighty V30... Will any of them do it? Highly unlikely... the V30 is synonymous with many great guitar tones and will continue to sell like hot cakes and will be loaded into premium guitar cabinets for quite some time. Lol
V30s are overrated, overused, and a big reason why so many players that use them (especially metal), all sound basically the same. V30s are stale, brittle, and fizzy unless you dial those frequencies out. F25 seems to follow suit. Ever tried metal with green backs? Sweet mother of Mary, you're missing out if not...

@suavonman9539 that is correct!
I think a cab with F25 and V30 would slay! V30 is still just marginally my favorite, but the F25 really shined to me as well.
The F25 is great!
Man those riffs… insane 🤘🏻 great comparison

Awesome video. Awesome playing. Awesome speakers. You made me want them all 😅. Thank you and I'm looking forward to more speaker videos 🤞.
I am pretty impressed. They sound really good !
🔥 Great comparison video
Hard to beat the v30. F70 was probably my favorite out of the Fane options.
Gotta say, this is some of the best riffage you've written.
V30 sounds great with your setup! Fane has some nice flavors, i still like my greenbacks tho.
F25 sounds great, really good alternate. Sounds really natural.
Another installment. LET'S GO!
The F70 is an amazing speaker, especially if you dial your amp to suit the speaker. Favorite speaker I've ever used.
Fane is really kickin ass.
I think the cab the speakers are mounted in also makes a huge difference. And in reality the player was setting the amp to what he our she is hearing, so results would differ to some degree.

I really liked hearing this comparison, i would love it if you could check out some of the mojotone or jensen speakers in a situation like this
Jensen video coming soon! Mojotone hopefully also... stay tuned!
@SonicDriveStudio awesome!
Somewhere, someday, someone is going to do a shootout between the Fane F70 and the Mojotone BV30V, and my head will explode with speakery goodness.
F70 is king! It requires a little higher presence setting on the amp but once you do that, the clarity and punch is unreal
The M65 Creamback is great! Nice and smooth
When played on their own, they all sounded great. After the AB with the V30, I didn’t like the F60 or F70 as much. The F25 shined throughout in my opinion, very unique alternative

Sounds a lot like a K100 just a little smoother.
Fane is supposed to be used with a Hiwatt amp. I dont understand these. Are they just celestion copies and have nothing to do with Fane?
jaguar speakers are rare and no longer produced, right?
That doesn't ring a bell... never heard of them
No, Randall doesn't have them anymore, but you should check out Eminence Governor or Eminence Legend V12 (probably the closest to original jags)

@terminalvelocity485Thank you bro, I will definitely check
I feel like the Fanes would need something much brighter to work their best. Compared to the V30 they sound kinda muted...but then again sometimes the V30 is a bit too aggressive...
I think the V30 is legendary for a reason. None of them were any better-just different. My ears preferred the V30.
Sounds Fanetastic
You sound fantastic!
Thanks for the shoutout, mate
Booooo! Dad joke alert! 😂
That look at 6:24.
No m160 mic? That's like my bread and butter
Short answer... Yes, any great speaker "COULD" dethrone the mighty V30... Will any of them do it? Highly unlikely... the V30 is synonymous with many great guitar tones and will continue to sell like hot cakes and will be loaded into premium guitar cabinets for quite some time. Lol
V30 every single time. Every shootout the Fane model gets worse.
V30 wins this easily in my opinion the others are kinda sloppy

PS. Watch Ola Englund do a demo comparison V30 vs Greenbacks, hear for yourself.
