I really love seeing this video of Jet Harris when he was young, he was so cool looking! Please don't ever take this off of UA-cam, I really enjoy watching it 🙂
One of our first gigs with Jet was at a ballroom with a revolving stage. facing the back wall and out of sight Jet and us played the dramatic moody intro of the "Peter Gunn" theme as the stage would revolve slowly to face the audience. Halfway round guitarist Barry's foot accidentally caught the mains plug leaving everything unamplified with just drums and sax's playing into thin air. It was comical as the stage carried on past the audience and back to where we started. Embarrassing as re plugged and looking less cool we had to make a second entrance........
As bass player and vocalist with Jet Harris's Jetblacks I was the other voice on the the B side hit "Some People" NOT Tony Meahan and my bass and left eye is featured in "The Man From Nowhere". www,terrywebster.co.uk
Now THIS is why I "service" my feedback, instead of just counting my hits! It's great when I hear from friends and relatives of the stars on the clips - plus occasionally, the techs who worked on the pieces - and PARTICULARLY, the stars THEMSELVES. This video is one of my favourites - and being able to say YOU were a part of this legendary piece is EXCELLENT. Well done, sir.
From the 1963 film "Just For Fun". It was basically a series of video clips strung around a nonsensical story about teenagers getting the vote and setting up their own political party. Jet Harris (along with fellow ex-Shadow Tony Meehan) had another spot, this time as vocalist, singing "Doin' The Hully Gully".

I admire the skills or talent of Jer Harris, he is so smartmin playing his guitar, he can play without looking at the string, how amazing
The skills of Jet Harris is differently famous from the rest, he has his own style
