The hype for this film is real, my bones are vibrating with excitement. Also, folks, a 30-second Imax promo is floating somewhere on Twitter/X, it spoils a certain character's death, so I'd avoid looking for it if you don't wanna get spoiled.

I helped with the marketing consulting, and not with the production of the movie. But the director Fede is a big fan, as well as the special effects guys. There definitely are fans making this one.
I’m just so excited for this! Marvel really wrecked the comics for me by losing that vibe that Dark horse had created….even the dialogue was disappointing….but this? Maybe Disney finally clicked that we don’t want it sanitized. Each trailer makes me wish it was August already!
Well, technically this is made by Fox! While Disney does own them, this was in production before the buyout and they haven't changed anything in their production to make it a 'Disney' film. Like the new Planet of the Apes entry, it's still the same vibe as before. Hope you enjoy once you see it!
@@MikesMonsters ah, I just looked again, it’s the tail. Sort of looked like hands, but it was the light reflecting off Rain’s wet t-shirt. You can see the Weyland logo which rules out hands.
Top notch coverage Mike! Gotta say, I'm loving what I see. Sure, there's always a nitpick or two I'll have with any Alien film, even the masterpiece original, but all in all I'm very impressed with Romulus. That VHS leaked clip was wonderful. The Xenos look damn good, and it's nice to see they have good lip movement like before. Also, it's refreshing to see that Fede hasn't overly color timed everything like most films lately. This still appears to have a nice mostly old style look to it, pretty natural in terms of palette and visuals. Heard there was a new IMAX clip that just dropped too... but it's too spoilery it seems.

Man, this is going to be so good. Seeing the colony and how gritty it is, is giving me that Blade Runner vibes and the dynamic of the characters looks good as well.

In the featurette clip the Mother AI say's welcome to Romulus Space Station 5:30 so it's not the Renaissance Space Station now.
No official media has called it Renaissance, that came from the leaks. So they are just doing a misdirect.

The Xenomorph designed by Legacy Effects, which is the one we’ve seen in all the trailers and images. Nothing more than that.
