THE YEAR WAS 1979 , metal was finding its ground , rock was fighting off that new craze disco ! muscle cars , rock clubs , vinyl , 8 tracks , blacklight posters were all the rage !
Bell bottoms were still in.
No MTV yet; USA Night Flight and the Midnight Special showed live rock bands.
Concert T's were either purchased AT concerts, or by mail order (allow 6 weeks for delivery).
Paying COD for mail order goods.
Posters and other inserts inside LPs.
