*This humidifier works great **Fastly.Cool** to keep our crawlspace at the proper level of humidity. It was an excellent price and shipped so fast we were amazed!*
Totally agree!
it's a POS... look at the reviews... it won't last 2 years... i guarantee it...
You are a champion! I can't tell if you secured the dehumidifier against the wall so that no one pumps it over by mistake. I like how you have it setup with gravity and the condensation pump, good work. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks 👍 no i dont have it secured to wall but not many people in the basement. but if y9ou have some kids id consider that.lol Thanks for watching!
Heard from GE they say the bucket fills up then the pump will kick on and drain until empty.
Trying this now
im gonna have to take a better look !
update-my bucket/tank has never been wet yet, just flows out the hose, no pump
@@crashman1963 what was the solution? Mine filled up with water then shut off. Do I need to really tighten the hose?
Make sure hose will flow down hill and is not clogged, my tank is never even wet.
I just purchased one for my basement exactly like your but man the the next morning the Tank was full even i have a hose connected to the Unit ....
check see if hose is kinked or stopped up
Hello mine cut off 5 minutes after I turned it on. I set the humidity level to 50 but it never went over 35. It's new straight from the box
if i remember correctly 35 is low humidity 50 would be higher.
I have the same unit but mine will not self drain it just fills up the bucket instead of going out hose . Any problems with yours ?
seems to blow warmer exhaust than it should. the filter light came on, cleaned filter, light still on. works good otherwise.
Mine as well I am awaiting a response from GE
michael gonzalez I added a garden hose to mine and it leaked all on my basement floor... I followed instructions... not sure how to get it to drain from the hose? Any suggestions?
Are you going to review embalming surge pumps next?
Great comment! Thanks for watching! How about Federal Heritage vs Eagle Kingsley built on Cadillac XTS?
Mine will shut off after about 2-3 hours and Will not work. Have to unplug and plug it back in only for it to work for another 2-3 hours. And yes I have it in nonstop mode
make sure your outlet is perfectly clear, mine has become problematic that way.
Do you need to remove the flotation device in the reservoir for the hose drain to work?
no
Do you have to use water in there
no
I wanted to know how I can set the timer to nonstop
im not there right now but the percentage button will display nonstop
Mine is turning off & I cleaned air filter. Any suggestions
what about the shut off switch which tells unit it is full? stuck or dirty? tank not pushed in all the way? hose kinked or stopped up?
My always said 55 and the bucket still empty for like a month already ..what I do wrong ?
i dont know is it leaking?
Crashman..no, brand new and as right now I have not water yet
Mine works but then stops, I don’t know how to fix it and I don’t know how to change the filter
dont change, clean it under a hose.
here is video how to clean filter--ua-cam.com/video/Act2tITF3Xs/v-deo.html
Mine is doing the same thing & I cleaned the filter, still turning off
Why the heck does mine keep filling up the bucket. It’s driving me nuts
i had that problem, mine had a blockage just inside the outlet stuck my lirrle finger in and must have removed it... i guess,, but it s working now
How bout the filter ?

Mine blinks empty and shuts off
check for stuck sensor, connections
Can’t hear you at all
sorry ive listened a cpl times sounds plenty at my end, my dad tells me s0ft though
Did you see a huge jump in your electric bill?
no, but she does run constant, and basement smells a little better. thanks for watching and commenting
Moisture can cause mold. A spike in the electrical bill is a heck of a lot cheaper than fighting cancer 20 years from now.
Mine doesn't help with my electric bills either..I was paying 50/70 $ before I bought it...I'm paying $200 a month right now. I have no option than to take it down. $200 a month is way to much
@@grego9306 buy a small meter, killawatt. You can then monitor how much use you want out of it
Mine blows hot air. Any idea why??
no but mine also blows hot air
@@crashman1963 so hot air is natural? I GUESS I have to use it when I'm not in my room ...I got one more Question are you putting water in it?
@@SofiaMcCannPerez it blows hot air yes. it takes water from the air, it is a 'de'humidifier
@@SofiaMcCannPerez why would you add water to a machine that you are using to remove water from the air? Am I missing something?
can't hear the little explanation. (:
sorry about the poor audio, some others have complained as well but comes up ok for me.i dont know how to fix it, but thanks for watching, and commenting.
Using the internal pump the tank will fill up first but if you attach a garden hose it drains directly
ok gotcha, misunderstood,
A professional set our up and it makes zero noise... not a sound and doesn't work. We have water in our basement... no noise and no taking up the water. So???
mine died after year and a half.
hey mine shuts off does that mean there is no humidity?
This one never stops
@@crashman1963 mines shutsoff
@@jorgeyoung6926 What Humidity do you have the Dehumidifier set at? Also, what does your Hydrometer say?
@@ToddTinley 60
@@ToddTinley I figured it out it was on 60 but I changed it to 40
what are you? An Undertaker??
No.. why?
@@crashman1963 Because you got Hella caskets in your house. Who does that?
