We bought our 16 year old son an 08 ES350 with 109k miles. He’s had it about a month and a half now. We bought it locally and the car has extensive service records from our local Lexus dealer. I’d be curious to know what maintenance you have done or have had done. I just bought plugs, plenum gaskets, throttle body gasket and I plan on doing that with him in the next week or so. The oil change process on these are so simple and plan on doing 5k or less…oil is cheap! It may need back brakes replaced soon, so I’m just going to do all 4 wheels since the fronts were done about 60k miles ago. The brake replacement seems to be pretty straightforward as well. We don’t have any records of the transmission fluid being changed and I’m contemplating just doing a drain and fill which is really only replacing about 2.5 quarts or so. The VVT-i line was replaced in 09 with the upgraded rubber but I bought an all metal line and want to eventually replace that as well. Have a good day.
Yeah ES350’s are solid cars and very easy to maintain! Literally all I’ve done to mine is routine maintenance which has just been oil changes and I replaced the brakes 2 years ago and thats literally all I’ve ever done to it over 7.5 years of ownership.
