I just want to thank you for sharing this! I can honestly relate to your story so much. My mother also immigrated from Mexico to the U.S. to provide my siblings and I a better life. I can't imagine my life without my mother so speaking about her gets me emotional as well. I am currently taking a gap year to gather my prereqs for PA school. At times I become anxious and fearful that I might not make it. However, after watching other students from minority backgrounds overcome these challenges truly inspires me to keep going. Wishing you the best luck in PA school! :)
Oh my goodness I can relate to this so much! I also cry very easily when I think about how much my love my mother has and how strong she was to support us! I am so happy for you that you graduated from PA school and that you're practicing now
Thank you for this. I’m also emotional like I cry easily if it’s about my family. Thank you for this. I will definitely arrive early in my interview on 10/19!
Hi, I agree with the second mistake it was not a big mistake, being human it is understandable. Thank you so much for sharing. I will also make sure to reach before time.
Crying is human. Society should never teach us to deny our very human nature, and no-one should ever negatively judge us based on our human traits and characteristics. We already have enough technology all around us and it is not making us any better. The more we change, the more we stay the same. What makes us better are our emotions which connect us all together. We do not need or want to become robots or all emotionless psychopaths.
First off, what an awesome and informative video! I just wanted to let any high school seniors know that I am currently going through the interview process for PA school and have gone through things such as research, shadowing, PCE, and the GRE. I am part of an organization called MED-ED and we are a group of students from different medical backgrounds that come and speak to high school students from medically underserved areas about different careers in healthcare. I am obviously the PA student representative of the group but we have students that represent the M.D, D.O, P.A, OTD, R.N, and N.P professions. We are based in Pittsburgh and would love to come and speak to schools about medical-related careers but we also do Zoom meetings at any school in the country! We talk about the differences between professions such as responsibilities, education requirements, and compensation. On top of all of that, we walk you through step by step on the process to becoming a P.A or any other medical professional! If any of you are interested you can follow us on Instagram @ _med_ed and message us! we would love to hear from all our future healthcare professionals! Thanks for reading!
Wow, I can just imagine how you felt being In the spot by getting there late. Hate unclear directions or how is by choice or optional but everyone has to be there early 😏. But for the second "mistake" isn't a big deal as we all are humans and we deal with emotions but I guess you need to show that you need to hold yourself and keep it together. Awesome video and thanks for sharing.

Hello! I attend UTRGV!
@@EstefanyVPA Oh crap! That's the school I want to get into! How was the process with them?
Great video! I don’t think the crying was a big mistake. But, you need a new word other than “individual” 😂
Beep!
