This is the best episode I've ever listened to. Congrats on this one guys. Syed is the ultimate goal in terms of business for me (probably for a lot of us too).
Money is not meant to control people, rather it is meant to be put to work producing more money for you. You cannot build wealth without putting money in its rightful place.
First profit grew rapidly and that has made me invest without the fear of losing, I got four of my friends that I introduce to him and they are making profits just like me..
Gold! Great story, particularly on the atypical route of bootstrapping around an ecosystem/thesis. This gets drowned out by all the venture backed approaches/frameworks. Thanks Syed for being so frank and generous with your story!
These conversations open up your mind to what’s possible. Something you wouldn’t have if you haven’t built your network yet. Thanks make entrepreneurship less lonely.
Now, it's a lot simple to go from nothing to hundreds of millions (if that's something you want) I appreciate this episode and the chance to learn from Syed.
Excellent episode. Loved the talk of his ealry days working with WP to the present day AI tools and strategy tips. As someone else mentioned, this epside reminds me of all the dabbling I did when I was younger but never really pursued one thing. Nonetheless, it was so insightful and inspiring. Thanks guys!
What this guy has done is extremely impressive in just about every measure. That said I couldn't help but notice how his investment approach could in some sense be flawed. He says that whenever he has a new expense come up he needs to make a new investment that generates enough cash flow to cover this new expense, but this then implies that he wasn't actually fully invested in the first place, or at least wasn't invested in a way that would generate him the best possible return. He implies that he would have money laying around to invest in something that would generate enough of a return to cover this new monthly burn, which is obviously not great because you would be leaving money on the table by having this money laying around waiting to be invested in the first place. The more general and correct approach would be to simply always be invested in a way where you cannot find any higher risk adjusted return than what you currently have, and then simply decide how much you want to spend of your income. If a new cost is coming up and you take that on you, then you have decided that its worth it. Great episode. Thanks.
That was a very great interview. I wish he could go into more details about the cash flow from the tools that he purchased. Like what those tools are, and how do they earn money. If anyone has any information, I appreciate it
1:14:06 Crazy, 10 years ago I was in tribal Easter Afghanistan/Pakistan at border security point 6 and 7 fighting Haqqani network from Pakistan, dodging rockets - while this awesome dude made himself a billi 😅😅😅How the turn tables. Goodnight from Alaska boys, Syed is awesome!!
53:21 I see both sides of this coin. At his level it will not affect his personal experience in life, he is set. I have friends that will wind up scraping by in the future because they are afraid to invest and or use leverage. That nut won’t cut.
Great pod! As always you guys bring the best Guest and questions. i love Mfm! But let the guy finish what he is saying before you intervene with a painting the picture story” felt like we lost some of what he was saying.
anyone else notice they change the thumbnail multiple times on some of these? i wonder if its some strategy they are trying to keep the best performer for the long run
Very interesting, would like to hear more about the leads that pay hundreds of dollars. Bit annoyed I can't do the Freedom of Information Act Arbitrage because I'm in the UK
I have an idea - a social platform where you can store all nuggets of wisdom that you discover, clips of UA-cam videos, impactful tweets, snippets of podcasts, insightful paragraphs from books.
I adore this podcast, but I am more intrigued by entrepreneurs who ARE NOT geniuses. This guy was in high school at 12 for a reason. People like Drydek are more motivating to me…cause he is not a genius. It’s why I enjoy watching Curry play. He is not Jordan. Guys like this are like Jordan. I can be like Sam. I can be like Drydek. I can’t even imagine being like this guy or Hormozi. #unicorns
I see where you’re coming from but tbh there wasn’t anything that stood out as genius, although this pod does stand out as a fav of mine w/ tons of value. It’s heavy in patience/discipline and acquiring skills that you can leverage.
The only ideas he shared were FB ads and content creation of sorts using AI. I was looking for some aha moments but were none. Asking for a friend, is an AD agency still profitable? Isn't the market saturated?
Syed Balkhi is an institution. How can a young man be this impressive? Like. Wow! I'm banging the table in excitement. Totally inspired.

Thank you!
This is the best episode I've ever listened to. Congrats on this one guys. Syed is the ultimate goal in terms of business for me (probably for a lot of us too).
💯 agree

One of the rare exceptional episodes
Last episode was fire too though

As an immigrant from Pakistan and Cricket fanatic, this was amazing and motivational. Thanks for putting this together

This is one of the best, most valuable episodes ever 🚀
25 minutes in. Solid episode so far. Syed is great!
Certainly is. Smart dude
Loved this episode. We need a part 2 asap
Probably the most fascinating guest of the pod so far.
No riba (interests) 👏🏾👏🏾 that's why he pays cash, no mortgages
wish he mentioned this! so many muslims are involved with riba because they gave up on trying to live the halal way

I listened TWICE to this podcast. Rare gems!!
What a podcast, amazing story. Need him to be back on the show!
Man this one had so much knowledge, I gotta watch this a 2nd time
Gold! Great story, particularly on the atypical route of bootstrapping around an ecosystem/thesis. This gets drowned out by all the venture backed approaches/frameworks. Thanks Syed for being so frank and generous with your story!
Let’s get both this guy and Andrew Wilkinson on the pod at the same time. Would be a great episode
Wow! That would be 🔥🔥🔥
Potential GOAT episode
These conversations open up your mind to what’s possible. Something you wouldn’t have if you haven’t built your network yet. Thanks make entrepreneurship less lonely.
Amazing insights in this one with Syed, came back from his second one and this one is impressive!
Ok, this podcast has to be the best podcast in the entrepreneurship space!
Syed is the definitive MFM guest. What a G.
I thought that was Keegan Michael key from key and Peele in a wig and glasses on the thumbnail
20:33 Best Part/Secret. Got to know him better in this candid episode compared to other videos of him. Best Wishes.
Now, it's a lot simple to go from nothing to hundreds of millions (if that's something you want)
I appreciate this episode and the chance to learn from Syed.
That's a banger. We need more Syed.
This dude saved thousands of dollars for people with his wpbeginner..first time I see him on any video🙌
You guys are exceptional all around but please don’t speed up the sound

thank you!
My mentor has the same story except enterprise Salesforce sites and MS. founded in 2019 sold January 2023 for $135m. He just turned 29.
Crazy. What’s his name?
One of the most open and transparent insights in entrepreneurship.
I love Sam, I do, but the kind of questions Shaan is asking is just phenomenal. That helps in unearthing a lot of the story.

This was a master class on investing and entrepreneurship.
Great pod! Great story! Thanks Shaan and Sam, this has been truly inspiring!
One of my top episodes
This episode is the reason I subscribed to this channel! 🙏

This guy is the final boss of Indian gas station owners 😂
No he isn’t. There is a guy in New Jersey he is Indian and is a billionaire from gas stations.

amazing podcast!
Fantastic episode
I would listen to a Syed Balkhi + Andrew Wilkinson episode 10 times
Despite shaan and sams framing he certainly didnt seam rude or withheld helpful info at all. Very helpful. I like that guy
Thank you!!
Loved the episode, nice guys can win - ultimate alpha!
Great interview
respect to syed
Why is there a UA-cam playbutton of list25 hanging😂
Great chat with an under the radar dude 😮
anyone else notice they change the thumbnail multiple times on some of these? i wonder if its some strategy they are trying to keep the best performer for the long run
This video reminds me of all the dabbling I did when I was younger but never really pushed on it. So much lost opportunity UGH.
I remember when Syed bought his first Honda😂 He talked my head off about HOW he did it.
I'm only watching this because of the comments so you folks better not let me down..!
The profit is made in the purchase price.

great pod
This is epic 🙏🙏
I thought this was a Key and Peele skit.
I think went 7.5 mins before the other guy had a chance to speak lol. Not as a knock was just funny
I am not a fan, I am an MFM addict.
Great!
Let me have a guest on and not let him talk
Oh Wordpress…
Syed didn't go to High School....he bought one instead.

How does one get invited to camp MFM?
What was the UA-cam Play Button behind him for..?
He built and sold a faceless YT channel
@@MyFirstMillionPod😯 He must come back . Let each episode be on his one single venture.

Would love to see a single mother entrepreneur, on your show, who generates $100 million per year.
wow!
MFM team: How do you vet guests? Are you sure this guy exited over 100M? He thinks doing an agency service model is ‘cash flow’. Hmmm
Love the channel but these 30-year-olds are looking rough! looks like they are in their 40s.
The only ideas he shared were FB ads and content creation of sorts using AI. I was looking for some aha moments but were none. Asking for a friend, is an AD agency still profitable? Isn't the market saturated?
