Yeah I don’t like to pinch of the tendrils two, although my reasons are different, I don’t pinch them off because I think it might injure the vine.

Good point I think every time you cut something off at has to take time to heal itself and also could open it self up to disease. So leave the kick stands on the vines to help the leafs stand up is my theory

Thanks for the video, Mark! I'm hoping you can make a video later showing how you unbury the vines later in the summer. It seems like it would be difficult to do once the plant gets so big (not wanting to step between vines to reach far into the plant). Thank you very mulch!

Hi, I thought I was behind looking at Bradnt's vids, but seems like I am ok my plant is 15 ft long and I am pollinating my baby punki tomorrow. I was also wondering how you were going to "unbury" your wines.

use the garden hose and spray the dirt off the tops and then rinse the bottom off the leaves you don’t want dirt on the leafs

Great vid as always! I am having some pollination issues and and cracks in my main vine. Described it in a video I just posted. I know your probably a busy guy, but if you have time to watch, do you have any advise for what I should do? Just turned 18 so I dont have a fancy setup yet, and dont have much growing space.

Another great video!! When you take off the unwanted leaves how do you make that decision, I understand if they are so covered up they aren’t getting any light but if they are getting any of the sun aren’t they producing energy? If it only takes 50% of the sun to get 100% growth then wouldn’t 100% of the sun 50% of the time produce a significant amount of energy? I see a lot of the seasoned growers clear the stump which I can understand but then all the small leaves they get to and I don’t know why cause it’s possibly power loss and when the old leaves do need cut off the young ones underneath aren’t there to take the place of that older leaf. But really want to know how you get to that decision, thank you!!

Soil test is very important so you know if you’re lacking in something that may slow down Fruit development
