I am 49 and I still love this series. I am grateful to Nick for such a brillaint performance as Alan Carter. Here's to you Nick all the very best from Scotland. You were always my hero!
Alan Carter/Nick Tate was my childhood hero in Space: 1999. I saw an interview with him some years back where he said he was not a fan of sci-fi really (at least not at the time of that interview). I was a bit sad to hear that, but all the same he was excellent as Alan Carter and it does not change my fond memories from when I was a kid. I'm still sad I can not afford those larger Sixteen 12 signed Eagles and in any case now it's out of stock. Same with the smaller Brian Johnson signed Eagle. At the time I could not afford it and there were also issues ordering from UK to mainland Europe. Now it's out of stock. That one I could now afford, but nowhere to be found. I do have a few of the Sixteen 12 Eagles with all 3 laser tanks (one was in one box with an eagle, the other two in another box with an eagle), as well as the orange version of the Hawk Mk IX. I have also pre-ordered Swift and looking forward to that. I still have my old die cast eagles (a green and a blue), the old MPC plastic kit models and the Space: 1999 action figures/dolls from when I was a kid. Even some Vinyl LP's with Space: 1999 audio stories, as well as the bubble gum collection and a board game. Of course the blu-ray edition with all episodes plus 2 older DVD's with one season divided onto 2 DVD sets. They are gold or copper coloured around the cover image. This is the series that got me hooked on sci-fi back in the early 70's and still my favourite even if I also like many other sci-fi movies and series.
Best Sci fi series Ever (along with ST.TOS ) what amazing Models this series had so many people still waiting for some sort of remake or continuation of the Series even with a different cast maybe with some quest stars of people still living.

So much better than today’s horrific CGI.
Would rather see a model like this anytime

Carter was the Cheif pilot. That's a rescue Eagle. I believe he flew all varieties of the ship. Mainly Eagle 1.

I’m hoping for a continuation or something. 😉🙏
Loved him
Got one.
I wonder if Nick has a 44” at his home 🤔
I have always loved the Eagle,I have nine, but man would I love to have this one 😀
I can truthfully say he does not have a 44” eagle of his own. He has seen ours as we’ve had him as a guest for two conventions in 2017 & 2019.
@@ToddsCornerScifiPropsShips kinda sad to hear that ,lol
