- Now that the Honda S2000 is over 20 years old, certain areas are starting to show their age. The window door moulding splits, the rear light seals start leaking water into the boot and the soft top drain can get clogged up. All of these areas get replaced with OEM Genuine Honda parts that work for both AP1 and AP2 cars. Finally, some OEM Honda Access Floor mats get installed.

Olly tackles some common fail points on the Honda S2000. Whether you have a prefacelift AP1 or facelift AP2 S2K, the trims and gaskets are getting old and need replacing. In this case, the Genuine Honda Door Window Sweep Belt Moulding Weather Strips get replaced after the drivers side has split. The Genuine Honda Rear Light Seal Gaskets leak water into the trunk area causing water to puddle in the bottom. Another cause of this could be that the soft top drain holes are blocked up with dirt so these also get cleared out. Finally, Olly installs Genuine Honda Access Floor mats to bring the interior up to date.

Couldn’t have came at a better time, I’ve got the issues you’ve touched up on🤙🏻
No way! Perfect timing for you then! Hopefully this has helped you out
Nice with some S2000 ownership stuff 🎉
Hopefully it’s useful info for anyone in the future!
@@OllyRossfrom France it is, i need to replace window stuff! 😉 thank you! ❤
You need to check the boot lid seal. Thats where it leaks from. Those light seals unless damaged, cracked or split can just be simply cleaned and put back. They also do not need to be stuck on the light. As for the cuts in the carpet. Those slits are there from factory as a guide to do that job. You are meant to cut them bigger. You are also meant to tuck the carpet under those brackets. Looks weird the way you did it.
Ok cool! I shall have a look there as well.
Looking at the Honda instructions, it says to leave the flap over the top so I was just following that
Hey, where did you get the floor mat fitting kit from?
I actually got it all included with the car when I purchased it. I believe you can still get it new with the the mats though
Whats happened to the other civic you and your dad brought
We still have it. I just don’t have the funds to do anything with it just yet.
