@@Obsidianandstone nope, good eye though 😂 not then. I got Mengus signature after he was done picking out his deck in Galactus not knowing he was doing an MKM veedeo and I waited for the game to be over when Toffel was starting to pack up to ask for his. Didn't want to interfere too much. I stood the otherside of Mengu to be out of the shot for G1 and G2. G3 I had to go play a round in Side event I believe.
I love this idea! This is something i would like to see more often, pro players on a time crunch and tight budget. Adds to the attention before the gameplay even starts!
Oh wow, THE BOX. Love it, great to see Mengucci rolling his Pauper roots into a time-crunch budget victory. Thoralf *almost* *almost* had it, too, cool to see that they were relatively well-matched even given the crazy constraints.
Holy moly your content is so good. You guys are having so much fun, it really shows in the videos. Keep it up! I hope you guys grow enough to expand into more countries!
Carl: "It's all in italian, i hope he's not cheating". Well it was actually beautiful understanding something not in english in an international (european, but still international!) UA-cam channel's video, especially Andrea swearing for the absence of Master of Etherium (i laughed really much at that)
What an amazing video that came out, thank you guys for the opportunity of being in it, it was a blast looking at the decks Andrea and Thoralf were trying to build and I was so curious to see the matchup between those two decks as well! (also what a game of rock paper scissors we had lol) See you in the next event I guess, keep the nice content up 😁❤
This video was extremely fun to watch. Loved watching them build two completely playable decks on a budget, and affinity and elves are kinda my jam, so this was right up my alley with those builds. 8*)
That was a really fun video, awesome idea, fun to watch them scramble around finding the right cards in a time crunch. I'd love to see you guys do a sealed/prelease event as a group back in your studio.
This was amazing to watch. Makes you think that you don’t need 100000 bucks to build a good deck. I also love how honest and happy they were for each other, such good sportsmanship.
This was especially awesome! Loved watching these two rush and build a deck in a short span of time. Love it so much! Keep up the good work! Wish I could buy cards from you all, but sadly I’m in the States 😢
Super exciting to watch! What a fun idea, you guys really killing it with your content. Also that scene at 9:34 was so wholesome haha. Such a kind move by Thoralf
This is such an interesting challenge. I’d actually prefer if it was a little more than 20 minutes of deck building so they could have more time to optimize and think of strategies. I’d even love to watch a longer version of this video where you can spend more time following the pros around the convention and have them describe their decision process.
Most refreshing Magic video I have seen in some time. I think cost restrictions are the most interesting restrictions, because then you can still play really good cards, you just can't play a lot of them.
love this kind of video/content dudes !!! plus the edit is +10 ((( I personally find it more comfortable to watch paper magic with the camera pointing horizontally at the table, not vertically. but it still looks great! I missed paper magic with this quality
This was excellent. Fun challenge, interesting insight into the deck building thought process, terrific chemistry between the two chaps. I would happily see a series of these videos. In a way it more resembles a kitchen table mindset - "Doing what I can with what I have" - but with super high level players and a very good pool of cards.
Very good format, it could be fun even not in a live setting with something akin to "the box" and a time limit to build some decks with the limited (maybe changing?) pool of cards, sounds like a plan!
This was the most fun video i've ever watched! Just awesome, the deckbuilding, the match, freeform magic, Toffel and Mengu battling it out with no ban list, couldn't have been better!
i love how both of their minds instantly went to sol ring lol. it's a shame mengu got to the vendor first, but i was really hoping thoralf would try to play a ton of artifact hate.
That was actually really cool and I’d love to see more content like it. Maybe this can be the start of a cooking like show with 3 rounds, but they can’t use the same deck more than once (so they can’t do elfball and affinity once they’ve done it). You could have preset boxes of cards for players to pick from but they are given a random box each round? Dunno, but that was great.
I’m suprised no-one played mono-blue with all the broken free cards like daze/gush/foil and the cheap cantrips like brainstorm and ponder in like a delver shell
I would definitely try to play Flash Hulk combo. In addition to the combo pieces, I’d look for cards like Gitaxian Probe, Arcum’s Astrolabe + snow lands,
Pairing the tall caster with throalf is one of the funniest unintentional effects ever. The height difference is staggering. Great content tho, we love magic!
Awesome concept. Very similar to what Rick Shiels does in the golf world with a budget to build a set of clubs and play against another player doing the same thing. I love it!!
Well, thought about it alot. In this situation i d build 4x tinker citadel deck with schemming symmetries. Ofc solring, something like acrum's astrolabe + affinity package. And tendrills as a payof
Decklists: bit.ly/3Uu8fW8
I love how Thoralf knew Andrea was on Affinity because there was only 1 gingerbrute
If only it had led to a maindeck shatterstorm effect being played. It would have been amazing.
Watched a fair chunk of this live and got the Mystical Dispute playmat signed by Toffel and Mengucci
That's awesome sounds like a great time!
Lol is that you holding the mat at the beginning of round 3?
Sweet tofel

Spot Higgins and Aaron in the back at the start of the video? 😂
I love this idea! This is something i would like to see more often, pro players on a time crunch and tight budget. Adds to the attention before the gameplay even starts!
Ditto, More of this please guys!
I would love it. Both doing such a challenge and binge watch
Following the tradition:
Andrea is the best human being please keep bringing him forever and ever

Thank you! That's so find of you to say 😃
Wow that topdeck and response! Much empathy from all of us who have been in that spot.
That was fun! Also, with Thoralf predicting the Artifact matchup, it would have been hilarious if he went full main-board Artifact destruction. Lol

Yes, it was fun watching your rock-paper-scissors game. Next time you win and earn the money. (Although I might be too late for that.)
This video was extremely fun to watch. Loved watching them build two completely playable decks on a budget, and affinity and elves are kinda my jam, so this was right up my alley with those builds. 8*)
This was so much fun. Amazing editing!
Thank you :)
such a fun idea, and having mengu and thoralf being the players is icing on the cake
Such a great idea! I’d love to see this again and with twists on rules. Very fun content.
My favorite thing about your channel is that you always manage to present something fresh and original! Greetings from Greece!
Andrea is great; glad to hear he'll be around for more videos. I've watched the matches between him and Frank more times than I care to admit.
Constantly impressed with Cardmarket's production and how entertaining the videos are - great personalities!
That was a really fun video, awesome idea, fun to watch them scramble around finding the right cards in a time crunch. I'd love to see you guys do a sealed/prelease event as a group back in your studio.
You had much more of a chance that last hand than I thought! Great deck building!
cardmarket became my fav magic channel now, they are so refreshing with the content, please keep it up!

What an amazing idea!! This my favorite video on this channel, I would have liked to see them play more games!
Its always interesting the different directions people go when having to build on the spot. My first thought for this sort of challenge was merfolk.
I was thinking red deck wins and burn
@@JazzOfTheStinson RDW is a good thought, Rakdos aggro would be as well I suppose
Most refreshing Magic video I have seen in some time. I think cost restrictions are the most interesting restrictions, because then you can still play really good cards, you just can't play a lot of them.
This is one of my new fav channels, love the creative ideas you have for videos
this was sooooo fun, please do more challenges like this! I'd love a commander challenge like this (but maybe with 150 euros)
Absolutely loved this concept!

What a killer video Idea. Loved this one, and the friendly atmosphere. It makes a good look for magic
Elves and 8-Cast are my favorite decks, this video was made for me. Love the deckbuilding restrictions too!
Loved this video! Very high quality even when not "at home" 👍🏼

This was absolutely amazing to watch. Great Video idea!
Such a fast paced and fun video
Can’t wait to see more Andrea. Very entertaining vid!
Honestly, that's how they should cover the Pro Tour. Not the deck buying part, but the game. That was cool!
That was an awesome idea and execution guys, congrats!
Content from these guys hs me more hyped than anything WotC has put out since War of the Spark trailer.
i love how both of their minds instantly went to sol ring lol. it's a shame mengu got to the vendor first, but i was really hoping thoralf would try to play a ton of artifact hate.
this is amazing!!! need a sequel!
We love Andrea and want to see more of him!!! :)
also vendors and building was very fun
Such a cool premise! I hope to see more videos like this!
Brilliant content and looking forward to seeing Mengucci back in Berlin!
Keep it up! We want more!

13:02 I love that some things transcend games. I mainly play yugioh and when I declare attacks I say that I swing with whoever.
Looking forward to seeing more from Mengucci!
I'd love to see more of this where they have a time limit and a budget to build decks so that we can see the thought process behind the decks!
This is great! Infinite Thorolf and Mengu content please
I’m suprised no-one played mono-blue with all the broken free cards like daze/gush/foil and the cheap cantrips like brainstorm and ponder in like a delver shell
Thoralf is always a treat to watch. Great video Cardmarket!
This is exactly the type of stuff I want to see. Let's go!!!
This was a very entertaining video. Keep up the great work!
MORE CONTENT LIKE THIS!.....pls. Great video guys. I really enjoyed this one
Best format, best Chanel, best guest please moooore
That shop keeper was cool dude making dealing and show them the box
Yay over 100k views in 10 days - the channel seems to be reaching new heights! Congratulations!
Id love to see one of these on a really tight budget to see what yeah they have to use!
Wow, whoever came up with that concept is doing a very good job. A perfect idea for a video.
I LOVED THIS. Excellent idea for a series!
Video after video an unprecedented quality offensive and for me the most varied Magic Content on UA-cam. Thank you very much for this. ❤💛💚💙🖤
Thank you for your kind words! :D
I would definitely try to play Flash Hulk combo. In addition to the combo pieces, I’d look for cards like Gitaxian Probe, Arcum’s Astrolabe + snow lands,
Excellent video. Always a blast watching what y'all come up with.
Pairing the tall caster with throalf is one of the funniest unintentional effects ever. The height difference is staggering.
Great content tho, we love magic!
Nice video, part I enjoyed the most was when we learned that there will be more of Mengu soon
These types of challenges are always fun to watch!
The content you guys put out is so entertaining, interesting and unlike any other magic content I've seen! Keep it up!
We have to see this format again!
awesome video. reminded me of a higher powered version of the classic loading ready run LGS kitchen table challenge videos they've done. so good!
This is GREAT content! Love you guys!
My favorite mtg channel, can’t get enough of your videos
Reminds me of Ltt scrapyard wars and that content was my absolute favorite. This is great!
Their knowledge of the game and deckbuilding is insane.
Too easy finding cards Galactus is one of the biggest shop here in Italy ☺️ nice video guys
I love the ideas you guys come up with for your video’s. Great job keep’em coming. ❤
Such a fun video to watch! Great job Cardmarket and the players :)
Thoralf rotates those elves and forests so smoothly it's pleasing to the eyes (ex. 10:06 & 10:27)

I could watch these all day! I'm a filthy commander player who needs to get more hip to 60.. Learning a lot so keep up these videos!
Andrea is my fav guest on your channel, and my fav player after Yarmin, Carl and Toffel
Best mtg content on UA-cam by far!
Thank you that is very kind of you to say 😃
Best Video by far! Please repeat this. This was amazing
I honestly look forward to every video card market puts out! Hope to get to meet y'all someday!
Can we have more of this please?
Very happy with this content, super engaging and fun
Such a cool idea, great players, and so much fun to watch!!!
This was such great content. Thank you, guys!

As a beginner player, I really wanted to see what combo Thoralf wanted to do in game 3. Could anyone explain or recommend a post/video?
Great video! So fun to watch! Awesome content guys! :)
Love the video 2 of my favorite pros! Plus will being a awesome camera man. 3 favs in one veedoo. ❤
This was a great video, so did you supply the basic land cards, or was that a part of the budget.
Basic lands are usually free to use at most of these events :)
the features are great, keep 'em coming
Never a bad video from you guys! ❤️
