i stayed at the Trop sept 2nd 3rd and 4th and left on the 5th........very bad compared to last year very upset with them......i go every year for 25 years and im sad to say very bad.....wrote anice note to them and nothing from there!
I hate the Tropicana I've eaten there at Chick and Peas and the food wasn't good and the menu was misleading. I wanted crab legs and they didn't have any. Then I went and played Blackjack and lost 1200 dollars 😢 I know better to stay there in the hotel tho smh. Another thing we were trying to get out of there from the parking lot and we ended up in their so called downtown area and it looked like it had been bombed or something it was raggedy 😂😂
I didn't know they reopened the Showboat! That was my second favorite casino. Good slot machines. Was last there the same year it closed. I have to get back soon.
@@Riechell70 it’s not a casino anymore…it’s a HUGE arcade and indoor water park just opened as well. Rumor is they might put a casino back in where the buffet use to be.
I knew Atlantic City way back in the late 50s before the casinos were there. It was a nice family resort. The steel pier was long with the diving horse at the end. Then there was the garden pier, central pier and milliondollar pier. They had first run movies, wax museum and peanut man that was outside the peanut store. We went there about every year.
I’m there now for the first time! I’m staying at the showboat with my dog and my mom.

I love the Trop for its dining options/ the quarter but the casino floor is just okay. Feels like it’s missing something.
