Black Stallions & a Ninja Unicorn on Dartmoor!

- We are ‘man down’ at the moment with Victor (my older Shetland stallion) having a minor field injury so Claude's full younger brother Edgar stepped up and was wheeler out for a training session on the moors. Naturally finding time to ride a ninja unicorn was a key part of training! 😂 (don’t knock it until you have tried it…..guaranteed laugh!)

Everyday I get more convinced that Emma is a great horsetrainer full of love, compassion and understanding for her animals.

Such a great way excercise them. And I love that you go without blinkers so they can see their surroundings. Also proves that if the training is slow and kind, horses will be calm without the need to half blind them, which I think just makes them shut down tbh. Great stuff :)

I’m guessing you can canter on the roads as the ponies have their “ trainers” on? Also are people in cars and what-not patient, from experience most people are but some can be impatient & obnoxious. Looks like SO much fun!
They have horse boots on that help with shock absorbent and hoof chipping so it's 100% fine to have em trot/canter on the road.

There are many videos on it but honestly getting them used to wearing boots is extremely easy and simple. Some horses you can just put them on one day and they don't even care.

Please tell me that wasn’t fox hunting being featured around 8:30?! Where they use the dogs to run foxes down and tear them apart alive for sport?!!!!
Yes it was a hunt..they are still allowed to meet op.
They are not allowed to hunt foxes anymore.they use a scent decoy instead I believe.
But I fear if they come across a fox,not sure they’d be able to stop the hounds ,it makes you wonder if they do it incognito though.
Evel reched people they are,, that was a part unfortunate to see,, pompous tiny tips they are.
I'm so glad people got out and saved the foxes, I saw an amazing lady on foot rescuing a fox and going mad at those fox hunting dreds of the earth. She was awesome.
@@susanbrown2909 most train their dogs on a different scent than a fox so they don't end up on a fox trail tho accidents can still happen but they're rare. Working breed dogs are extremely fun when doing what they were naturally bred to do (as it's much easier to work with their instincts than against). You should definitely check out SightHound Lure Coursing.
I'm surprised she's on the more as there's a really bad strangles outbreak up there right now so it's a bad idea to go as a person let alone a horse owner with your horses. Msybe it's a case of if they don't touch they won't get it but what about the grass? What if they eat the same grass? I just think it's a bad idea
"Strangles" is not airborne. If you notice, she did not allow them to eat any grass, she had hay bags for them. Also, they didn't come in contact with any other horses. None of her equipment or anything came in contact with other horses or people. Did you notice that she did not allow contact to drinking with the hunter's horses?
She is a very savvy horsewoman. There is always at least one negative nancy and sorry to say, you are her.
It’s usually spread through close contact with horses and sharing equipment,or tack and muzzle To muzzle contact.
Although there’s wild horses there ,I’m sure Emma will stay distant from them ..and they had their own hay bags.
