Donkeys Carriage Driving Summertime

Enjoying a summer evening donkey drive. It is Bailey's first time on a carriage, being a post and being a groom. Thankful for Bailey's enthusiasm and spirit - she did a great job. Donkeys did a beautiful trot on the roads, practiced some turning in the field and ended with some cone challenges - our all-time favourite.

I know nothing about donkeys but I am impressed. Louise says, "trot" and immediately they start trotting - well, mostly. They seem to like trotting.

Dixie looks much darker here than on your older video.
How big are they? Standards, about four feet to withers?

Jeff McFadden their colors tend to change slightly with the seasons as they grow thick coats in winter and have slick coats in the summer. The lighting can also make a difference. Dixie had quite a bit of reds in her coat as well. Dixie is a large standard at 12.2 hands and Lisa is 13.1.
