I just wanted to tell you, that this little man, was a Canadian tv star this morning! Your little clip of him trying to figure out how to lay down from yesterday, was my local morning news show's "Feel Good Moment" this morning! I was so excited, like the geek I am. 🤭💜
@@ΚρύσταΚολοβού. They do not interfere unless necessary. This horse was a maiden (first time mother ) and was in distress. Without human interference, both would have died.
This video just made me love ❤ Gracie even more. She’s one of the the most beautiful gray horses I’ve ever seen and that sweet little baby boy is absolutely gorgeous as well. Y’all are so blessed to have such beautiful foals ❤
Gracie did an amazing job, especially since it was her first time . And baby boy is so beautiful and perfect. And what a lucky girl that she had so many humans to help her deliver him. Your Dad is amazing his experience shines! You and your husband have amazing people teaching you so you can carry on the family farm
Gracie is such a sweet girl. Glad she had you guys to help her out. I'm a retired Pediatric Critical Care Nurse of 25yrs abd watching this had my adrenaline pumping. Thanks for sharing💜💜
Grayson would be a perfect name for him because although she’s not his biological mother, carrying and birthing and nursing him makes her just as much of his mother. What a tribute to Gracie’s journey that would be.
I understand completely the good, the bad, and the ugly stuff that comes with farming and I'm no farmer by any means but I just love watching you and your family and all the love and hard work you do for your animals and I think it's beautiful and you are very excellent at explaining the steps you take when caring for your fur babies. Thank you I did at one point want to be a farm vet but it's not always putting cute bandaids on little babies. Thank you again I feel I'm living on the farm with you as you take us along on your day to day life. Be blessed ya'll.
This is why I don’t chime in on things I have no experience with- helping these great Mamas when needed is so important!! Thank God they made it through!
Hi, from Knoxville, Tn, Katie. I love watching your videos because not only am I learning but admiring what you do. Gracie has been my favorite, but I love them all. Your tiny goats, especially. You're loved, girl. Keep it up.
Katie Van Slyke, I admire you so much, your compassion, your strength and your over all attitude towards life. Your beautiful and I so enjoy your videos. Thank you for all you do!!
So beautiful too see thank you for sharing amazing moment.I have seen cows calf more than I can count but I have never seen a horse give birth before.I hope everything with baby go’s as good as the birth and again thank you for letting us be apart of this beautiful baby first day
I'm glad you were there to helps her with the baby you saved them both!! He is so adorables and so fiesty already. Poor mama that was hard but she did such an amazing job. Welcome to the world little one:)
He has Beyoncé’s face for sure - I love the dished face especially for showing ❤️ She did such a great job and so awesome everyone was there to help her out ! Great job guys :)
I can't add anything that hasn't already been said but I will reiterate that Gracie was blessed to have all of you there for her, and OMG what a handsome little man 🩵🐴🩵
You look like you want to have a good cry!! That was so beautiful!! Thank you so much for sharing!! Shout out to your husband he was a trooper and really helped!!❤❤❤❤
I saw his tongue and was like, oh that is swollen. Gracie def looked like she needed a minute after that experience. Im so glad both are good, healthy and happy. Can't wait to hear the name of him. Looks like a Preston to me.
So so precious to see mom and colt bonding👅 When you put the placenta in the bucket I thought there was a bridle in there with it. But no, that’s a lot of stuff. I didn’t realize how much it it
I love seeing your husband learn the ropes with horses too! I’m sure you love that he is there to help you when your parents are out of town like with Penelope.
Gracie you did a great job!! What a good mommy she is already!! He's so cute!!! I just came across your channel a couple of weeks ago and I love it. You guys are amazing with the love and care you give your animals!!! God bless you all!!! I can't wait to find out what his name will be.
I had to laugh because I saw he was born when I looked TikTok, and I’m here on UA-cam encouraging you all and Gracie as she gave birth. 😂🤣 You all are wonderful and I thank you for your videos. ♥️♥️♥️
Watching Gracie Foal how scary and you were all so calm. I cried a little I follow you on tiktok, Instagram and on here. You are amazing and Gracie is so beautiful and a good momma. Big hugs and lots of love from Barry South Wales 🏴U.K. 🇬🇧xxx
My dad had a mare that we called Runs, because her name was a mouthful (Runs with the Wind, we're Native Americans), she foaled a stubborn little colt that we named Dances with the Wind after his mama, shortened to Dancer. Little boy there reminds me of a Stubborn Dancer, which now that I think about it, makes sense with Beyoncé being his bio mama.
That was incredibly hard to watch God knew what he was doing timing it so you could all help her and her baby boy. So glad all is well love your updates!
Thank you for sharing this video, I like to try to watch as many of these that have a difficult / abnormal birth as possible so I will be more prepared if my own mare has an issue. She is due in about 3 months.
Ok so I follow you on tic well you know the rest. One question how come you are not a vet ? you explain so eloquently. I was so impressed with your whole video. Well done!.
OMG I love this...I know at times the mare needs help...when helping by pulling the foal out has it ever broken a leg? Not you guys but in general...could it happen?

I hope they reached out to her and asked permission smh
Geeks unite then cuz I was there too🎉
@@basedasf5896 they listed her TikTok, Insta and Facebook handles. I'm sure she won't be upset at a little exposure. The video was public.
Δεν καταλαβαίνω με αυτά τα βίντεο που δεν αφήνουν τα ζώα να γεννήσουν ήσυχα έλεος!!!

You can tell Gracie is in shock right after giving birth. What a good Momma.
She had a "Did that just come OUT of me?" look on her face.

I just love Gracie. She has to be my favorite if I had to choose one. She is so gentle and so sweet. She is going to be a good Momma. ❤

Think i saw a comment on her FB page; someone had suggested Grayson but she did say that they weren't going to name him that
If she names her 2025 foal Grayson that’d be great. As long as she doesn’t have him 3 months early.
Gracie did amazing for her first time. He is a beautiful boy. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
