Great clip. How about pointing out some of those big bucks on the wall and telling the story behind it. Same thing for Hal, would be awesome to see and hear about all these big woods bucks!
So cool! You can tell Rick is a pro through and through. And his grandfather sure was good to him. That was a great podcast when bern was on. Cheers Rick 👍
If you ever shoot the whelen make sure the barrel doesn’t come loose! Mine came loose three times while ladder testing and the pump hold down pump bolt came loose as well. Blue loc tite fixed the issue knock on wood. I also sanded the barrel channel and make sure to hold the pump in the opposite direction when tightening the pump down so it stays floated when tightened down. It shoots under half MOA with handloads now that it doesn’t rattle apart when shooting.
My newest 7600 is a .35 Whelen and what a beast, i absolutely love it, but my 760 ive had sense i was 12 and killed all my deer with except 3 of them, is my favorite iv'e been lugging it up and down the mountains for 22 years and she's still doing everything rite, it really is the perfect hunting rifle
What a Beautiful place you've got there Sir...ALWAYS REMINGTON PUMPS!...Im a left hander, so the 760's and 7600's just fit like a glove, and there is no better Rifle than a Remington pump, especially in New England, here in Vermont it's perfect! My first Rifle, was my first Deer Rifle when i was 6, and it was a IMI Timber Wolf .357MAG (Isreali Military Industries) got my first buck opening day my very first year, and my Pop wrote an article to an Outdoors publication and they put me in it....Good Luck this 2022 Season Sir!
the 7600 30-06 made me smile. thats what i use it was dads he bought new in the 80s and watched him kill many deer. its now my main deer rifle i dont use the model 700 much anymore
Wasn't expecting so many nice firearms. You have a nice collection in very nice condition. Hope you get to take a 200 pounder with your grand father's gun in honor of him! My greatest day hunting was being in a tree stand with my son first day youth hunting him taking a 4 pointer with my old gun that I took my first deer with. To be there that day I will never forget how happy we both were.
+1 to the Remington pump 30-06 👍 I’ve been using my Sportsman 76 pump outfitted with the special run Grice Gun Shop PA laminate forend and stock. Ones to definitely hold onto these days. Great video!!
You have a lot of great bucks on the wall. Nice guns too... I shot my first big (Southern) Maine buck this last fall, missed the patch by 4 pounds. I found your channel from the FB group.
Loved the video, Rick! You talk about your guns like I talk about my guitars. I really enjoyed the stories of your grandfather and the history behind your collection. You have a lot of great memories there. Best wished. Earl Bickford
Lee that 30-30 Winchester, my Grandpa has one left-handed left side rifle. His is absolutely meant condition. And it's old of course right around the same years yours i'm sure
Check your math. The TC hawken came out in the late 1960’s. I got mine in 1973 and it always fired. Lots of things to keep it dry even it a wet environment.
I bet we know some of the same people. Larry Bushey, from Vermont, had a camp fire at his Duxbury Dear camp, and what was dangerous was there was. I forgot how many rounds, like a 100000 rounds of ammunition in the camp and the fire department had a hell of a time. Dodging Bullets camp players at your Huntington camp are very, very dangerous, very scary for a fire department. He wasn't prepared for that meaning, Larry. I think he keeps his ammunition now. Secure, so that doesn't happen agand it was after he had put a ton of money into that camp. We cleared some. We put a pond in. We raised a bunch of lower land to make it higher. We planted apple trees and pear trees. Some Imperial deer feed Yup. And then the next summer gone right to the ground. Long story short, I'm sorry about your fire. At least it's one of the most heartbreaking things you can watch
I run my slings tight then loosen them if I’m walking out to put on my shoulder and most of my slings are removable I put them in my pack while tracking but it’s good to have a sling after a long day and a 5 mile walk to the truck. - Rick
must be nice to live in that part of the North east and actually kill alot of bucks, and modestly say 15 black bear... I never see bear when in the PA mountains.
That’s a fine collection. Your grandfather sure did love you. Thank God for grandfathers.
Great clip. How about pointing out some of those big bucks on the wall and telling the story behind it. Same thing for Hal, would be awesome to see and hear about all these big woods bucks!
Coming up soon!
I wish Hal wood do the same!

Your grandfather treated you well!
Great video rundown and I like your man cave/room. Quite a few trophies I’m seeing
That Winchester 1860 is actually a Winchester 1873 I believe. I wish I could find old lever guns in a dump though! Thats a neat story.
Been listening to the podcasts for a long time and you look a lot different then I expected thanks for the gun show cheers
Great collection! Love the old Winchesters. Just a FYI....Your 1860 is really a 1873 44-40 and the 1886 in 38-55 is really a 1894.
I was going to say the same thing.
What a cool gun collection, love those ol’ lever guns really cool
My first deer rifle was a 100 Winchester. In .308. Oh how i loved that gun
the 7600 30-06 made me smile. thats what i use it was dads he bought new in the 80s and watched him kill many deer. its now my main deer rifle i dont use the model 700 much anymore

Great gun room, thanks for sharing Rick!
You have a lot of great bucks on the wall. Nice guns too... I shot my first big (Southern) Maine buck this last fall, missed the patch by 4 pounds. I found your channel from the FB group.
Fine rifles and shotguns. Good a collection as a man would ever need. I especially like the Model 100 in 308. One of my favorite all time rifles.
Loved the video, Rick! You talk about your guns like I talk about my guitars. I really enjoyed the stories of your grandfather and the history behind your collection. You have a lot of great memories there. Best wished. Earl Bickford
That Winchester 22 mag is a beauty!!

Check your math. The TC hawken came out in the late 1960’s. I got mine in 1973 and it always fired. Lots of things to keep it dry even it a wet environment.
Nice, great collection Rick. God bless brother.
I imagine you boys are helping drive the used prices on 760/7600s right now....crazy out there. Good stuff, stay well
Very nice collection. Really enjoyed the video.
How do I get ahold of that peep sight for the 7600 I just inherited one from my grandpa and would like to upgrade the sight
Sick ass mancave and old school lever actions!!
Very nice. Thanks
I hope to have a room like that one day. Great video!
I love every gun. I have an a bolt 30-06 that is my main gun.
Nice collection thanks for sharing
The rifle hanging on the beam, is a Springfield, not a Winchester.
I bought a BAR MK3 in 30-06. Rick what did you put on for sights on yours? Im assuming the skinner sight on the back but what about the front?
Great stuff!
Too bad Remington seems to have stop making the 7600. Can’t find one anywhere.
Beautiful collection and room of trophies
A very nice collection of hunting guns. No need for those AR types.
Sorry but that’s a Winchester 1873 ,it may have patented dates to 1860 but it a 73
Awesome !
Was hoping to see you pull out an uzi or something at the end just to surprise us lol
To make a long story short, I need to up my game
When and where is it legal to hunt deer with a .22 mag?
Are you from mass?
Cool stuff
You can hunt deer with a .22mag?

You think a .22 Mag is a deer rifle?
New sub! Liked 😀🙏😃
Sounds like u had a cool grandfather.
Didn't know Winchester made a rifle in 1860. Didn't think the Winchester company came around until 1866. Henry made a rifle in 1860 though.
50 cal Winchester civil war rifle? Elaborate please
Rick I noticed you run slings on most of your guns that you use the most. Don’t they get caught in the brush?
I run my slings tight then loosen them if I’m walking out to put on my shoulder and most of my slings are removable I put them in my pack while tracking but it’s good to have a sling after a long day and a 5 mile walk to the truck.
