      I'm really attracted to Accra in Ghana and Lagos in Nigeria. I really want to save save save and complete my bachelors degree before I move. How I'm in Africa by 2019.

      I completely understand. Well, you have time to plan well well. I wish I started when I was in college instead of now LOL Fingers crossed I will see you there. Accra and Lagos are great choices too.

    How can I write you on your email ...im from Riverside calif. Live in Las vegas now...want ro move to Lagos to open up nail spa... And India hair .Do you you think this is good Business to do...

      Hello Ardena Hollins! That sounds great. The marketplace is so big in Lagos that you can do those businesses, however I would ask you to go to Lagos and do some market research.
      How many nail spas are there? Who is your ideal client? Are they price conscious?
      Go to nail salons/spas that are popping and go see why. Is it the location, customer service, etc?

    • @IveomaMedia

      Also I urge you to go and do market research bc I did a podcast with someone who moved from Cali to Nigeria, started a boutique and lost her savings. And it could have been avoided if she did some market research first. Let me find a link. www.iveoma.com/episodes/18-diaspora-businesses-fail-nigeria/.

      The margins would be too small. A sew in frontal in Nigeria is like $11. You wont make it sis. Now if you decide to make sure its upscale, like beautiful building, mall location with all the perks.. then yeah..otherwise..look into a different business.

    • @IveomaMedia
      @IveomaMedia  6 років тому

      Hello Tamica, honestly you should focus on starting a business. Build an online business right where you are and use that to build your life in a country in Africa. Then when you get to there, see what you can get involved in.

      @@IveomaMedia I don't have a clue how to start a business in Africa. I wouldn't know who to market, how to set it up, or nothing. Like I said, I have worked in Transportation for 24 years so I am not website, or computer savvy. I wouldn't know who to market. What do people in Africa want from the states? How would I go about it? Could you give me insight?

      @@IveomaMedia I have never been but I have been really looking into it since Donald Trump became President. I was looking at Nigeria, Ghana or Kenya. I have no family there so it would be a culture shock for me. Do women drive busses there? What is the US dollar like there? I really don't even know where to begin. LOL
