Jesus, I'm a huuuuuuuge fan of Initial D, I'm actually absolutely crazy about this series and, well, I have a question about this cafe and maybe you can help me ... You know what days Initial D cars are there, like, have a specific day or daily?? I'll be staying in Tokyo and I'm afraid of going to Akina and the place being closed or having no cars there (would be very disappointing). Could you help me with some more information on how the schedule works and things like that? And I'm sorry for my bad English, it's not my native language ...
Hi there! Sorry for getting back to you so late.... I hope you got to go there. Their website has info and hours, some of it is in English, but getting there is kinda tough if you don't have your own car. Gunma is nothing like Tokyo and the trains don't travel to and from every stop like they do there. I stayed in Takasaki, took a bus to Shibukawa and then a taxi from the station directly to the cafe. As a kid initial d was my first anime and also got me into the car culture so I have anime stuff like games and figures at home while I own a Red 1991 Acura/Honda Integra GS lol sadly it’s hard to find a good condition 86 in the states

@Kenshiro I went already and drove mount haruna in a s2000 so we're good thanks hopefully they're good gunma area got bit hard by the typhoon alot of land slides
@Kenshiro I enjoyed it very much but I'm also a super fan of intial d so it all depends it's a small place so not much to do honestly but driving 2 hours to see the ae86 was worth it to me and then driving through the mt akina aka mt Haruna was definitely worth it to me imho it was a dream come true for me. There's 22 mins of driving through hairpin turns was awesome especially going down hill lol
@Kenshiro don't come in beginning of September to mid October that's for sure its typhoon season here and I lost a day and a half cause of it i would think summer time would be best to be honest I'm pretty sure in December it's snowing here but not sure to be honest this was my first trip to Japan I will be coming back though next year end of oct beginning of November because I want to come back for Tokyo auto salon and visit Okinawa Kyoto osaka next time around, I focus all of my time in Tokyo mt fuji gunma Nikko, this time around still very fun but only had 10 days and it wasn't enough

'80年代のトヨタは最高で(￣▽￣)造りが良い。運転が上手ならカーブで車が全く傾きません※峠をガンガン走っても車が道路に吸付く。動画にあったトレノとか最高でしょうね。同時代のトヨタは13/14クラウンとか８０マークⅡとか元祖86‥本当に最高なんですよ。※その生き残りは今タクシーで走ってるコンフォート(クラウン・セダン)なんです※旧型の方が造りが良いのでタクシー(プロが乗るので)に採用されてます。
