Yummy Samosas! What a lovely way to start. One of the most amazing street food to have! The lake looks beautiful and place is so calming. One must visit places like locals and have real feel of the place.
A crunchy breakfast to start the day. I love me Samosas. This area of Sri Lanka looks beautiful! A fresh coconut drink sounds refreshing. That bell sound 🔔! Love the historical exposition you did for the temple. Mmm that curry and rice looks delicious.
Kandy is a great town isn't it! I remember the rock Buddha temple it was really cool. It was super busy when I visited. Good to see you didn't waste any time finding a good feed, although I'm not a fan of coconut flavour, I think I would prefer Dahl not cooked in coconut water or oil. And of course, as little spice as possible lol! :)
I would love to try jackfruit one day - I've heard it has the consistency of meat like chicken or pulled pork if it's shredded. Great tip at the temple and not turning your back as you leave. That ice cream looked delish!
Kay, the juice you drank in a nelli juice, it also called as amla and indian gooseberry .It is so healthy and medicinal . It is rich in vitamin C. Also so many health benifits you can get by having it.boosting immunity, improving digestion, promoting heart health, and enhancing skin health. Consuming amla in summer is particularly beneficial because its hydrating and cooling properties help combat the heat, while its rich nutrient profile supports overall well-being. The antioxidants in amla protect against oxidative stress and inflammation. So it is a nice juice
Jack Fruit has its three stages in its life cycle...Tender jack (Baby) is for cooking is called polos..its only for curry modem..when is matured its used as a main meal instead rice..during the pandemic people ate them verymuch..even it can be cooked with graeted cocnut jack is rippen only it become a fruit with a sweet smell..There are two varietiese...when its rippen only can be recognised..soft one is called wela and hard one is called waraka..Even jack seeds are cooked with varous recipes very delicious
@@KayandGogo Seems like you have a lot to explore on food in Sri Lanka, as Indian food can be eaten at many restaurants easily in Sri Lanka, but unfortunately not many Authentic Sri Lankan food is available freely in India. 😃
@ruwanfonseka Food in Sri Lanka was amazing. However, we found India being so big that each region is different foods and cooking methods. We ate lots of delicious fish in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
Kay you lost weight please have a nice amount of food dear❤❤🎉🎉🎉Kay my uncle's frm Malaysia in your video at the restaurant 😂😂😂😂😂 I was shocked to see in your video 😂😂😂😂 suprise
Kay in case u both are visiting Nuwara eliya (Hill country side), I recommend you to try The Grand Hotel's High tea session, you will love it. (Little bit of British touch in Ceylon way). For Gogo I think since he love food he should try a 5 star hotel buffet in SL maybe at either Cinnamon grand, Shangri-La or at ITC Ratnadeepa. (Just to get a high end experience buffet in SL) Enjoy both safely.... much love from SL. 🤍
Your views are stunning. The food as usual looks great. Thanks for the tour. Yum

That is not samosa, it’s a variation of the pan rolls. 😂 the way it’s made is different to a samosa which is indian
Thanks so much for explaining to us
@@KayandGogo you can call it Sri lankan samosa.
