This trick works for every car with a remote entry button. The trick is: press the button at the exact right second. If you are trying to fool someone, you cannot have your fob beep, like the one in the video did.

I tried to lock it up an I only beeped an alarm and wouldn’t lock. I found that my wife had left her fob in her purse. The doors won’t lock from the touch sensor if there is a fob in the car. That prevents you from locking yourself out of the car.

Make sure if it’s a 5 door hatch to only lift the hatch 3 times then go to the next fit and do 4
