where are all these feelings hiding dancing in and out my mind, burning up all that i love, force feeding me to my decline. \m/ Jonathan Davis got me through some deep shit man.
Been fansince 99 and i was born 98 got a vhs tape of me and my dadwatching woodstock live first korn aboutwas in 2005 see you on the other side munky inspired me to pick up guitar at 8 met him at my first concert in 2010 and i still play till this day and i am and will continue to play and make a career of being a music producer all thanks to this band and munky i dedicate my life to them KoRn est 1993
Thanks. This is what I love about Korn; regardless of what people say about their current musical direction, they ALWAYS understand what people are going through. Musical change or not, they get it. And that's why I still love their music. This is one of my fav songs. As is Trapped Underneath The Stairs, Move On, Fear Is A Place To Live, and People Pleaser. Somebody Someone, Here To Stay, Freak On A Leash. Just to name a few.
My fav. song off the Untouchables album...Oh I wish that I could see.. How I wish that I could fly..far above the things that hang above me..To a place where I can cry
No matter how many times I listen to this song it still hits me deep. This is one of THE best songs I've ever heard. It's rare for a band like KoRn to make good album after good album but they did it. This song is the shit!
This band is brutally honest, and writes from the heart. I miss old Korn. I understand Dave's medical issue's and I respect Head's new direction. But this was so such a good time musically for the fans and the band.
Again, I agree. I've spoken to some people that listen to Pop/R&B/Hip Hop, and alot of them are very condescending. Not al, but, a hell of alot. They insult bands like Korn without actually taking the time to listen to their music thoroughly. I just recently listened to a Rap song, and an R&B, and I couldnt get into it to save my life. The only Pop Star who's music I like Is Pink. Other than that, I just can't get into it, no matter how hard I try.
truth. I haven't listened to Korn since Helmet in the bush way back in highschool. Today.. not a good day for me... and I find myself enjoying the music as I nurse my wounds. Now I need to go punch something for a bit.
@andthemushrooms123 Korn are one of the few musicians out there that are original, do what they want, and don't conform just because other people want them too. Their music speaks volumes.
People think Korn's music has changed. And I suppose, in a way, it has. But, they still have that dark Korn Vibe. SYOTOS had Love Song, Throw Me Away, and It's Me Again. 2007 album had Starting Over and Killing. Even Evolution. Korn 3 had Oildale, Pop A Pill, People Pleaser, Are You Ready To Live, and Holding All These Lies. All in all, I'd say that, different musical stylings or not, Korn have not lost their edge. :-)
@andthemushrooms123 I think one of the reasons Korn are so unique is because they do what they want. They love their fans, but, they have no problem doing the type of music that they want. And their music is POWERFUL. Just listening to this song. Like from 3:02 to 3:31. That part just gets me. This whole song is powerful, but, that part just hits me hard, leaves me breathless....In a GOOD way.
@andthemushrooms123 Korn are original because, no matter how much their music changes, it is always new, always different from every single type of music genre there is. When Korn does metal, it doesn't sound anything like other metal music. When they collab with rap artists, their music doesn't sound like any other metal/rap collaboration. And their collab with various Dubstep artists has created a new, awesome sound. Korn are original.
the main thing i LOVE about korn is that it makes u feel like ur falling!!! omg it feels so fun!!!! korn is the best band EVER and no one can top them!!! =)
I suppose I could see why you'd think that. But, Metal/Goth music actually sheds a light on the bad things in life. Pop music often tries to make it seem as though life is perfect. Like the worse thing that happens is someone makes fun of their clothes or something. There is rape, murder, child molestation, physical abuse, suicide, ect. Metal acknowledges that those things happen to people.
@andthemushrooms123 Exactly. Some people keep going on about how Korn's music no longer sounds brutal, that their lyrics have no meaning. Their lyrics still have meaning, and despite the fact that their current music doesn't sound like their old music, their is still a dark and brutal quality to their music. Just listen to this song. The lyrics, the way it sounds. It's amazing.
All the bullshit all the bully all the negative attitudes faces glared at me just because I was just being me.love was conditional among my so called.KORN has only been there and listened with their art in my life.ThANKS KORN.this songs says it all
@andthemushrooms123 Dirty is another Korn song that is powerful. Falling Away From Me. Alone I Break. Do What They Say. Hushabye. Kiss, Freak On A Leash, Did My Time, Somebody Someone. Shoots And Ladders. Those are a few more goosebumpy Korn songs.
I agree. Their music has changed drastically, but, it always has been different since their second album. I love their music still (love Get Up and Narcississtic Cannible) I think their current musical direction is, whethr haters like it or not, a cool new way to combine Metal with Techno. Its cool. Korn are Nu Metal; they always come up with new sounds that no other Metal band is doing.
for a long time a long time ago this was my favourite song and band. this song because it is at the end of the album no one knows about it but it is soooooo good. ppl should tell other koRn fans about this song.
@andthemushrooms123 EXACTLY!!! Music that comes straight from the heart is whats important to me, what speaks to me. I don't always care how a song sounds. I just like what's real. Korn are real. Despite the fact that the sound of their music has changed, Korn themselves haven't changed. They are and always will be real and truthful.
Where are all these feelings hiding? Dancing in and out my mind Burning up all that I long for Feeding me till my decline Where are you? My soul is bleeding I am searching Am I blind? All alone and bound forever Trapped inside me for all time
@MrPinkClip ya i know righti noticed some time ago but most havent yet if u cant relate to musicians then almost every1 of them suck. part of korn is going through these emotions some unique and times that has been felt and communicated through their songs and the beats of the song, tempo the feel, wether or not u feel as if ur in an abandoned building thinking about your life, or remembering hard days wen u was younger and perhaps why u didnt snap comes into play to help self reflection.
S'all good. And I think Korn are still very much Nu Metal. Nu Metal is basically, in MY opinion, a new age version of Metal that cannot be catergorized as Heavy, Death, ect. When Korn debuted in the 90's, their music was new, and unlike any other sound out there. And now, even after all these years, even though they've completely changed their sound, they are still Nu Metal. they constantly create new sounds like they did in the 90's. New sounds that have a Metal base to it.
@REIREI29 Damn right; they're all really powerful too. I love how Shoots and Ladders is nursery rhymes, yet that kinda makes it even darker and more powerful.
After hearing the lyrics I believe he's talking about God and the people in his life who might have been there physically but not emotionally for him. There's no one there for him emotionally or spiritually. Basically, he's lost which is not unusual. Many people today are lost; they don't know where to go or what to do. And I'm sure some have reached the point where they give up on life all together. That's just my honest interpretation.
There's also the fact that metal/goth and some rock music, show what societies (civilizations) r doing 2 themselves and others. For example: Another way to die by Disturbed, it shows 'us' the consumer, that our consumption is taking a huge toll on our planet and, at the rate we r going, will in turn be the destruction of Earth. "The indulgence of our lives has cast a shadow on the world our devotion to our appetites, betrayed us all in apocalyptic plight"
@andthemushrooms123 I certainly respect Korn for not conforming to what other rockstars are doing, and for doing what they love - making music, despite hateful fans and critics.
@andthemushrooms123 Well, Shoots And Ladders is meant to tell the true meaning behind nursery rhymes, to reveal nursey songs for what they really are about.
Sincei was 15 i waned this song played at my funeral, with all the people of my life crying over my body while i'm "leaving this places far behind"... And it shall be done.
A honest and emotional song, Korn speaks from the heart. What a true band that expresses themselves effortlessly. Very Brave. Nice work boys.
Man nobody can replace korn!!
i love this song i love this album, underated by the critics, loved by the true KoRn critics, the fans

where are all these feelings hiding dancing in and out my mind, burning up all that i love, force feeding me to my decline. \m/ Jonathan Davis got me through some deep shit man.

I think it's Awesome that Brian and Fildey are Christians now.
+kornfanatic2008 why? Organized religion is just big business.
Religion is, Christianity is not. Christianity is a way of Life. And Brian and Fieldy are good examples of Christians.
+kornfanatic2008 all of them are Christians , even Johnatan
Nope, JD isn't.
Not even Munky and Ray, I believe.
Francesco Salva
Munky and Ray are, JD is agnostic ;p

Where are all these feelings hiding?
Dancing in and out my mind
Burning up all that I long for
Feeding me till my decline
Where are you?
My soul is bleeding
I am searching
Am I blind?
All alone and bound forever
Trapped inside me for all time
