I was thinking about getting the shadra promos when i heard about Virus Imperial being in the Liberators web comic. Now, the previews for the deck are coming out, and of course, the price skyrocketed to even higher heights. Guess I'm SOL then.
At this point, I'm starting to think it would be a fun idea to print an entire EX-style set, but it's nothing but promos so that we can get accessible reprints of these $60 cards. Print it into the ground like EX-01, too.
we need more reprints in general (specifically for some SRs and SECs), but i've seen people disagree with this notion cause god forbid their precious cards by accessible for everyone
As someone who plays Tyrannomon as a pet deck, and also red/purple pet deck. I refused to play more refuse to pay more then $15 for promos for a bad deck. I had 2 Shadramon promos and sold them for $35 a pop, because it was nuts people paid that much. OVER $50 now is nuts.
i'd like it if they did what they did with the recent LM set, put the promos in a small set and set it up so you get 2 of each promo in a box, and then an alt art of another game staple(s) as bonus grabs.
Definitely, in Japan, they spend $40ish for a box that includes one box topper/promo. In Australia, we spend $135 for a box and only comes with one box topper/promo.
Yes and bandai ought to fix things by reprinting. and with future box topper promos you should be able to get 1 of each per box (like the trainings with bt14)
put every promo in each promo pack non-foil with a chance at foils for the sickos who want to max rarity their decks it worked for bt14, people still grab those boxes for all the trainings
A hundred time yes, and it's so annoying when is a useful, it get cards to Magic or Yugioh level prices, and yup reprints is such and obvius answer, the lm promo reprints were mid as can be but if they put the look after ones in some kind of product like that would be a lifesaver
As pointless as it feels, I always leave a message about the poor handling of promos in the surveys. The packs we get weekly should just be non foil reprints, besides the winner pack. I don't give a shit about alt arts, and I wish I could have non-foil versions of everything in this game. Never been a fan of foil cards. I have traded alt arts for 2 or more of the regular version, to bird brain alt art chasers.

Very much so. Promos are best when they're novelty, collectible, and not meta integral.
TLDR: Yes. x2
Is insanity and the worst part is that it affects decks that aint even hard meta
My exact thought. Flamedramon is the ONLY one I can see being hard meta
Promos need regular reprints and need to be two per box (assuming a set of six). It's that simple.
One hundred percent. I love DarkKnightmon and I hate that one card to update the deck is a $20+ promo card.
Yeah, it does

Has for a long time.
