Thank you for this video, very helpful. Only negative comment is the background music, it’s not necessarily. It’s quite annoying also it’s repetitive. Thanks again. 😊
This is such a great hack! I've been wanting a bin that I can hide and considered the Hallbar, unfortunately I have the same space issue as you. But you just solved that for me! Thank you! I do have a question, what size bags did you use for the bin?
Hi Gabe! I'm in a rental so I would not be able to use the screws, do you think the i could use the double sided tape to hold in place the rack metal thing too? Thank youu
Hmmm? I’m not sure. You can try. It doesn’t cost much and you can just peel off the tape if it fails with the help of a blowdryer. Otherwise, you can always cover-up the holes with some fillers when you move out
For better cleanability: To clean the bin you could use a thin wooden plate (screwed to the slides) with holes for the feet of the bin, instead of cutting them off and sanding it
@@gabeslifestuff Ah, wait, nevermind, I thought back when this was made they didn't have those pull-out shelves, my mistake 😅 P.S. I'm funnily enough also dealing with the same issue of the whole set not fitting so... whoops!! 🤣
I'm on a DIY streak at the moment, love a video that covers Australian stores! Nicely presented, and a solution to my own problem. PROJECT! :D
Thanks for the appreciation!
Loved your Video the back ground music not so much. Thank you for taking the time to make this video, very helpful.
Thanks for the appreciation, Athanasia! Didn’t think about the music that much really.
I was wondering there was a hack for the Hallbar. This is so helpful- thank you!
Good to know it helped, Kimberly!

Really glad the video helped! And thanks for the editing tip! Will take note of it!
Agreed
Thank you for sharing this great DIY vedio. What was the double sided tape you used from Bunnings? Thanks
Appreciate the love! I don’t remember the brand, sorry. But looking at the video, it says “perma stick product” i don’t know if that helps
Greetings from Poland
Heyhawaya from Straya!
Are those drawer slides called “side mount drawer slides”. This is helpful
Nope. They were not labelled ‘side mount’ when I got them.

So happy the video helped you out, Mimi! I use Large mostly. But it’s going to be trial and error depending on what’d available for you
Great video, thanks for sharing.
May I ask what length runners you used?
I think those were 50cm
Ooohh, Bunnings! You're in Australia or NZ! Do you have a link to the Drawer slides you used?
I think the brand is Goliath. You can check them out in the Bunnings website. 😊
hi I just got the same bin but can't find a bag that fits! Which bag do you use? Thank you!
Hi Claire! I use Glad Large or XL. But keep in mind that brands may have different numerical categories of the different sizes. Hope this helps
Is there a way to do this in a rental where you can't drill into the cabinets?
I dunno. But I think you need to drill the slides on to keep them sturdy
Just need to design a pulley system to automatically slide it open and closed by the door
That does sound like a good idea

Is it the 10litre capacity? And height of the hallbar is ±32cm right?
Hi Srirezki. I can’t remember the capacity. But it is the 32cm high one
@@gabeslifestuff ohyeahh.. that's the right one then..thankkss so much

Ahh! That would have been a good idea! Thanks for the tip. I might make some adjustments in the future
Niceeee!!
Thanks bro!
Why would you do that when you can get the whole set-up from Ikea?
Because the setup from Ikea could not fit the recess.
I think IKEA took notes from either you or someone else that did this because they just made theirn own take on this as of writing this.
Is that so? This been has always been a pull-out one tho

ahh. Well. Hope this video will help you fix that problem. 😊
Why do you need to add music?
Why do you ask?
Good video
Thanks! Appreciate it
