Finding this video today feels as if I have died and gone to heaven. With just this one video, I have found a wealth of resources to increase my confidence to create DIY floral projects, and the information is very well organized. I nearly cried following the link to read the recipe for this video. I am a subscriber for the rest of my life! THANK YOU for teaching and instructing. Bloom Culture is greatly appreciated and highly recommended. ❤
I have literally spent hundreds of dollars on online tutorials/seminars and haven’t enjoyed near as much as yours. Only wish I had found you sooner. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I love it 💕
This was super helpful! I had been trying to figure out how to glue/wire tie my flowers onto wooden batons to then hang on the signs, but this is so much simpler!! Making my wedding signage for my wedding at the end of next month and this has just given me the boost I need to know I can make something super pretty!!!
Thank you for creating this video it was a big help when I made a crepe paper flower Welcome sign for my sons wedding this month! I have never arranged flowers before but was really happy with the result!
Thank you SO much for making this video, I have been stressing out about how to add florals to my welcome sign since I'm DIY'ing all my wedding flowers. Putting some foam in chicken wire and hanging it with command hooks is genius. Thank you thank you!!
I just found your videos and I have to say you were born to teach floral design! I have watched so many different tutorials and yours are by far the best! So informative and a pleasure to watch!
I would like to design at home then just attach when I’m onsite at the event location. Is it possible to do this? Do you think it’s very hard to attach to the sign once assembled?
This was very helpful, thank you for sharing and explaining the process so well❤. The water inside the foam, does it ever drip or smear in the board? How would you prevent that from happening? Thank you Alison!
Great question! Yes, water drips out of the foam as you place stems. I would cover the sign if it’s not waterproof with something that is (not a towel as it could soak through to the sign). It won’t be a ton of water but enough drips to smear paint or something not waterproof. Hope that helps!
Sorry! No gatekeeping here. I wasn’t notified of this comment until I started looking into my comments “ I haven’t responded” to yet. Lots in there. They are lomey pew markers you can maybe find it on Amazon? I got this one at the floral wholesale. They have been phasing them out recently I think.
It could possibly wilt. I usually do foam items no more than 24 hours in advance due to the foam only being a tool and not a direct replacement for water.
Hi Bess! I found one here: www.marshallfloralproducts.com/LOMEY-Pew-Holder-Large--by-the-piece_p_428.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwrMKmBhCJARIsAHuEAPSCRijDtlih5OSR47ZwqUZDJ3lTGdlRLHhBUAikqBhktM_W9LirtsQaAjUGEALw_wcB
How long will the sponge leak for? Does it continue to leak? I'm planning on preparing mine the day before and hanging it on a wooden sign the a few hours before the wedding.
It stops dripping almost immediately after inserting the flowers. If the sign will get damaged due to the drips, protect/cover it with something or design off the sign and when it’s done dripping, place it in its desired location.
I’d say no more than 24 hours be for the event. Lots of factors go into this so just beware of a few wilting flowers as this technique is not a direct replacement for water.
It will drip a bit when placing the stems so if you need to cover/protect the signage you can do that or design off the signage and place in its desired spot once the drips are done. It’s not a lot but if the sigh might get damaged take precautions.

Thank you! So glad it’s helpful!
Where can I find the floral foam clamp?
Where can I get the clip you preferred?
Possibly a craft store or Amazon!
Where can I buy the piece that holds the flowers
I would like to design at home then just attach when I’m onsite at the event location. Is it possible to do this? Do you think it’s very hard to attach to the sign once assembled?
Thank you so much! This was really helpful!
Can you make the day ahead and just slide back on to the sign when needed?

Can it be done 1 day and 1/2 before the wedding? And knowing that it will outside ? Will it wilt ?
It could possibly wilt. I usually do foam items no more than 24 hours in advance due to the foam only being a tool and not a direct replacement for water.
Lovely!
Great tutorial, Thank you, where can I purchase the pew marker?
having a hard time finding them in stock but here is a jump off point: www.walmart.com/ip/Oaslomey-Pew-Holder-With-Floral-Foam/547574291
@@BloomCultureFlowers thank you, I'll keep checking
Gracias porque pude aprender esa técnica
Me gustaría ver una técnica poner el oasis en una estructura en hierro redonda poner flores
I like to use binder clips!
There are so many options!
I’m curious to know how to use binder clips…
About how many stems were used?
Where can i find the hooks??? Thank you
Any store like Walmart, Target, Walgreens, Lowes, Home depot or order from Amazon to name just a few! They are 3M or Command hooks.
Where do you get the oasis clamp you used in this video?

Are these arrangement ok to make the day prior to the wedding and still look fresh? How do you care for them to keep them fresh for the event?
I’d say no more than 24 hours be for the event. Lots of factors go into this so just beware of a few wilting flowers as this technique is not a direct replacement for water.
How to prevent water dripping from floral foam?
THANK YOU SO MUCHHHHH
Where can i find that clamp you use?
Amazon or Michaels
Can you do the same with artificial flowers?
It’s the same technique
@@BloomCultureFlowers do you have too soak the foam in water for artificial flowers
For artificial blooms it’s better to use styrofoam not floral foam. Floral foam is only for fresh flowers!
Will water not drip down, excuse my ignorance.
It will drip a bit when placing the stems so if you need to cover/protect the signage you can do that or design off the signage and place in its desired spot once the drips are done. It’s not a lot but if the sigh might get damaged take precautions.
