Same here I'm building a 58 stepside. Flat Out products are nice quality pieces. Thank you for figuring out the hard stuff for me. I'm really interested in the technical regulations you have. I don't think we have a camber/caster law here. But I guess that why you're way ahead in your build compared to mine. Well done!
You mentioned in the video you don't want to raise the rear height of your truck. I have a similar issue on my Flat Out rear whereby the halfshafts are in a downward slope which from the video yours looks the same. I also have the adjustable camber rods and they're at the shortest possible setting but I have an immense amount of negative camber. I called Don (who is awesome) and he said I need to raise the suspension to get the halfshafts more horizontal. I understand that would help but I sure like the stance I have now. Wondering if I can just buy some shorter threaded tubes to bring the camber back to normal and leave it at the existing height. Do you have any thoughts?
While I preferred it low to get better camber caster and toe I raised both the fronts and rears. Can't say it helped the half shaft angles but it's sitting pretty level now. Guess I'll need to get it realigned now too but thems the breaks and it's now at the height the certified will approve the suspension travel for...
Thanks for putting these videos up, as I'm using all the same gear on my Fleetside
