In the movie, one would think that there were only 5 or 7 people around, but in reality there were hundreds of them around watching. It's amazing how these people involved in the movie shoot those parts piece by piece, part by part and connect them all into one beautiful finished product. I'm starting to like movie industry when I see footage like this.
The entire production team deserved big applause 👏!! Congratulations. I always appreciate the production staff, who are behined the cameras, we should never forget this people.
Okay they have changed the climate too in final screening, I mean this is like almost mid day . And in series its quite early, dovey, dawn rainy light.. kinda thing.... I mean that level off effect is quite fantastic!
These 2 minute scenes take all day to shoot 🎥 I worked in a section of London where they’d film movies, etc. Once they were filming Luther - Idris Elba was jumping in a van, out the van, in the van, out the van … all day. When I watched the scene on TV it was a 30 second clip 😆
WARNING!!! LONG WINDED MESSAGE!!! Great scene!!! Nothing like a Masterpiece Theater presentation, 18th-19th century duel!!! If you saw the duel in the series "Poldark" that was a great one as well, but they actually shot at each other. In one of my history classes in college, I learned, and actually read in full, there was actually an entire rule book for dueling etiquette and rules, for example, the Duke, if he felt he was a better swordsman that a shot, since he was the "visiting team" in a sense, since he was challenged, he gets first choice of weapons, and he could have chosen swords (that's where "fencing" came from, rich guys learning to use that sword just in case). It was also common for duel to have a "referee/umpire" so to speak, who had authority to shoot dead whichever duelist cheated or violated the rules, such as, if someone fired before allowed. Duke's "second" or assistant, the Boxer, does by rule get to choose pistols first, and ensure he is not given a tampered with pistol, it was common practice for the pistols to both come from one owner from the same box of 2 dueling pistols, which insures both duelists are using equal weapons (note the boxer inspecting the pistol very closely). It would be considered a dishonor to tamper with a pistol that your opponent would use, and if word of that ever got out, you would be disgraced for life and deemed a coward for giving your opponent a tampered with pistol As one of the younger brothers mentioned if you caught it, though some duels were serious business resulting in death, as in Burr vs. Alexander Hamilton in America, it was very common for the duelists to intentionally shoot wide or high, so they both walk away with gentlemanly honor intact, and often, it was expected that one of the duelists would be expected to give and apology, in this case it would have been the Duke apologizing where the onlookers would hear. Also if the Duke would have been fired upon and then fired straight into the air, which it seems he was prepared to do, and say if there were a larger crowd of 10-20 family there, that firing into the air would often be met by applause from the family and friends of the one who fired first, and considered a gallant and honorable thing to do for sparing their loved one's life.
@@gililevy3541 Kate is the future Viscountess Bridgerton. She will be Anthony's wife. I love Kate! Shes the I-dont-care-if-youre-a-Viscount type. 😂. Sienna is an actress never meant to be for Anthony. Viscounts like any noble will only marry aristocrats or one with noble blood. And Kate is of noble blood. If im not mistaken she is the daughter of a Baron or an Earl. I forgot Ill have to read the book again for the nth time! 😂 #Kathony #KatexAnthony ❤
Any woman who inspired a duel would have been considered a fallen woman by the ton. The duelists would have to leave the country if either were injured or killed....so the whole duel for honour was a fallacy.
Clearly this show takes place in an alternate universe where racial integration existed in England in the early 19th century. So is it really necessary to be such a stickler for authenticity?
@@christinemiddleton4476 My point being that there should be a creative freedom for certain anachronistic elements in the production seeing that the racial integration aspect IS NOT part of established history. Purely a personal viewpoint.
GUYS thank so much for a 100 subs🥳🥳🥂🎊🎊🎉🎉🎉
That stunt woman was indeed amazing!!!
Incredible 🔥 she was
I never applaud actual actor for any action sequences... These people cant even lift the finger when it comes to it!
Props to the horse at 9:03, really making the most of the material, such flair!
I love seeing behind the scene footage. The duel was one of my favorites scene on Bridgerton.
The amount of detail that goes into filmmaking....incredible
It was funny when Anthony started shaking 🤣

Can’t wait for Anthony’s story.
Can't wait to see the other Bridgerton brothers stories, even Gregory.

Oh Ben being the nearest one from Daphne but he just couldnt grasp the entire situation just yet that his sister fell dramatically from her horse🤣
One take fall. Superb.
I don't know if anyone noticed the White horse 🐎 running off in the background having a good old buck, it did make me giggle.
I want to be friends with Jonathan Bailey - he’s so funny
I think it's time to admit we all collectively though of Hamilton during this scene
Yeah the duke throw away his shot.
I was singing the 10 duel commandments in my head 😂😂
Yesh I was waiting for the song to start :p
Literally. I thought the 10 Dual Commandments song would been a perfect modern classical rendition!!!!

There’s nothing better then being on a film set. I can’t wait to shoot again.
The stunt lady deserves a great applause. Nobody knows her, and she did that dangerous and great job.!!!! 🎉

Authenticity is what makes viewing so compelling and plot believable. Hence the phenomenon it has become.
