I had the S31 for the past couple years. When it worked it did a nice job. However I found it was extremely finicky and was alway telling me "master" that I need to empty the bin even after I continue to empty it. It also would say it needed to charge and over and over had to try and get it positioned on the base with no luck. I tried hard resets and emailed with their support a few times but it was alway something I was doing wrong or something new I needed to try even after explaining I've already done everything they asked. We moved into a new house 4 months ago and i never got it to clean once. After asking me again to charge i threw the whole thing in the garbage and I'm starting my research for a new robot vac.
I loved this vacuum but the company doesnt make auto empty bags anymore so whats the point of the auto empty bin?? They should just sell it cheaper without the auto empty bin.
I have the KYVOL S31 and am NOT happy! the problem is theat even carefully following the instructions, ti will NOT connect with my WI-FI!! it starts to connect and immediatelu the voice tells me that the connection failed. HELP
Could be the classic issue of 2.4/5 ghz Wi-Fi. In short: a lot of smart home devices don't like 5GHz. They need to connect to 2.4Ghz only. Some routers just don't work like that, and will try to force it onto 5Ghz. Couple of solutions: either make a new Wi-Fi network just for smart home things and only broadcast it on 2.4Ghz, or move the smart home thing further from your router - this ensures only the 2.4Ghz network will be able to reach it, as 5Ghz has a very short range.
i bought s31 and i am very disappointed with the mop function. its a "wipe" function and not a mop. also it has "no vacuum" and "no mop" area functions but it cannot distinguish between them because it can only mop and vacuum at the same time. this is NOT A MOP! wasting money if you want a mop.

How’s the mopping? And does it have carpet sensor so it doesn’t mess the carpet?
This is hilarious! "Sucks up pretty much everything" - robot leaves a trail of cat hair, and the floor is filthy.
Dang dude do you ever dust your place? Ironic lol.
He's super dedicated to the job, saving it all for when a robot that can do it needs reviewing.
@@MakeUseOf If it actually worked, he'd have a clean floor.
how does it mop?
Great review. Been looking for robot vacuums that would empty themselves.
This guy is a good reviewer. Give him a 🍪
Om nom!
Sir this is insane that you haven't got a single comment
Does the self emptying bin clog?
I haven’t had an issues with clogging
Mine will not empty. The basevworks, but it won't get the fur out of the dust bin.
