Thank you for your excellent reviews! We recently bought the Qrevo maxV and were initially disappointed with the mopping on our heavily textured tiles. Then I discovered that if I schedule the mopping separately, you get deep clean+ mode with high water flow. This was a game changer, and now the tiled floors are super clean after. Just wondering if you use the dedicated mop modes in your testing? We also found that we could schedule a vacuum everyday, and then an hour later a deep clean+ mop for truly excellent results. Thanks again for your reviews, they gave us confidence to buy the Qrevo MaxV. 🖖

I have bought this one and I can confirm its ability to overcome huge thresholds. In one room I have raised floor by 35mm. At first Rocky was struggling how to get over - upto a moment when I scanned the appartment and in the app add the threshold to the place where it actually is. Since then - it just come to the place and hop to another room. For me this was the moment when I have been assured this device was great purchase, because these thresholds were holding me back of purchasing robot for many years. Its dock station is superb, it empties dust bin and water tank effortlessly and its quiet. The floor after its care is somehow polished, considering youre not using any chemical adds for the water, its unbelieveable. It just struggles with the small cables forgotten on the floor - but its only con I have discovered during few days owning it. For those who considers purchase - do not hesitate, its brilliant!

Also no one mentions how easy it is to clean the entire robot and base station and how often you need to do this, hairs will tangle, dirt will get stuck and pile up after a while, or if you vacuum a wet spot it can become a mess easily
YES! My roborock S8 pro ultra only lasted a year before getting the dreaded charging error which appears to be a pretty common issue going back years. Then 2 months later the vacuum motor also died. @berhanxo I bought the Slim instead of the Master, but they are very similar. What I noticed is that the Slim misses some very small debris/dirt compared to my old Z10 Pro 😅 Solved by doing a x2 pass, but still. Was it worth 2.5 times the price? Naaah. I will keep my Slim for several years, anyone getting a Master or Slim is set for the foreseeable future. Hightly recommend 👍🏻
I agree but the amount of tech they keepnshoving in will always drive thee crazy prices. But great thing about roborocka is that prices do come down quite fast.
I paid £600 for a eufy, it does everything this does. Self cleaning, big enough wheels to climb, mops, self emptying, ai camera to avoid things and the app is awesome. Alot of customisation
In other countries, I think Robocroc sells a version of this that can connect to clean and dirty water lines so you don’t have to empty them and refill them manually
..mop pads as disc shape Never can clean and do better job than roll shape mop, like Eufy s1 pro or Switchbot S10 , not saying that Eufy is the best looking robot. Maybe dual brush is a step forward, if you tested and is 0 hair tangle is a strong point. Great review..think you kinda rush make this a king 😃
Hello and thanks for your good reviews. I would like to know how many ml the waste container, clean and dirty water tanks at the station are and whether they are different from other qrevo products?
I purchased the S8 MaxV Ultra 2 weeks ago which I now see it’s ranked number 9 on your list and this Qrevo Curv is #1… do you think it’s worth to exchange it? I got tile floors with no pets.
@@Moonscentedhunter hey quick question, does it also have the refill and drainage system ? he doesn't mention it in the video so i assume it's not. Wonder why the system isnt more mainstream, surely it beats refilling the water tank every 2-3 days.
I just got my curve yesterday based off this review and list! I love it so much already! I used your affiliate link as well. Thank you so much for these in-depth reviews!!!
I was able to snatch the S8 MaxV Ultra for 1099. Thinking about returning it. It's nice in a number of ways, but obstacle detection is definitely a con. Thinking about going with the Qrevo Curv, but gotta wait for that sale.
For Obstacle avoidance, can you start doing the same test but on carpet as well? I've heard reports of the Roborock Q Series struggling a far amount on avoiding objects on carpets.
I have logged 9k square feet and 19h runtime so far. The cons are the same with mine. Compared to my 1st use of the S7 MaxV, something has gone wrong with the algorithm on the Qrevo line with obstacle avoidance. Support told me there is no fix yet, and based on all of the other reviews posted, I am not alone. I do not have an issue with the side brush on my hard floors or carpet on daily use, and the tangle free hair claims are true. However, the suction power has been diminished due to a redesign of the on-board empty bin. The roller area behind the brushes gets dirtier because of the moisture and contact with the new bristles. One plus on the dock, it is slightly quieter when emptying the dust bin because of an interior cover over the bag. Overall, the tangle-free brushes and side brush are worth it for me. I have my collision sensitivity maxed out and it still hits dark table legs occasionally and gets tangled on string style dog toys. Huge disappointment, but hopeful that issue can be fixed with firmware updates in the future. If I could put the duo-divide, round mops with the 3.0 self washing dock on my S7, I would return the Curv.
Hey Christopher, love your work! You said the QRevo curve came in equal third for average battery efficiency. Can you tell me what was number 1 2 and co-3rd in this category ?
I was literally just about to buy the Qrevo Master that went on sale, and then I saw that the Qrevo curv took the #1 spot. Now i have to wait for it to go on sale 😅 (Hopefully before another new Roborock comes out 😅😅😅)
I bought a new house woth whote carpet and white ceramic tile on the 2300sqft main floor. I have a 5 year old Burner Mountain dog. I was moping and vaccumming 3 times a day to keep up and not feel like a slob. Bought the master on Amazone sale 2 weeks ago. Game changer and time saver. I dont do anything with the floor anymore.
Andrew, it will probably go down once their 2025 flagship is released, the G20 S Ultra. Once that one releases, the Curv may go down, but since the Curv is relatively new, you would have to wait for middle of next year when they have sales or for next Black Friday for a better deal.
Update: Curv went on pre-sale slightly for Black Friday, it's a low percentage , 19% and retailing for $1,299.99 right now on Amazon.. maybe Black Friday it will lower a little more. They have a $10 discount on the RR website and other discounts if you are military, a student, etc. Right now, the price is still high and it's best to wait until 2025 when they release their newest flagship as the prices tend to go down then. They also have sales in the year so that is something to look out for!
These tests get more loosely and more opinion based every time. I hear a lot of 'I think so' this and that. For instance, the spreading of debris should be a mayor flaw and certainty needs more investigating. But 'I don't think it will be a problem' are you for real? This channel is more and more about pushing the affiliate links and less about real testing and criticism. It didn't clear the base tests but its the king? Just weird. Also weird not to mention the slim model roborock also released, but I guess people waiting for another model doesn't sell.
What did you come here for if not for the thoughts of this reviewer? If you disagree with these thoughts and methods used to create a review go on your way and find a reviewer that meets your needs.
@@yoooei5792agreed. And what about the crevice test? It should get at least 95%. Crowning it 'the king' doesn't make any sense. It has a lot of features, but it doesn't seem to ace the basics.
@@Logical Totally agree, although the threshold feature was pretty cool but other than that it doesn't seem its a big of a upgrade from previous tested models when it comes to cleaning peformance
@@maverick85because I think these are pretty much the best video's. But my grain of salt I take with them just keeps growing. Plus you make zero sense lol.
I'm concerned at how dependant is it to the app. what if roborock gets acquired by someone next year for example and they now require you to pay a subscription fee each month to use your vacuum beacuse it cannot work without an app? :(
Guys, on Black Friday I’ll shop for either this Qrevo Curv or a Eufy S1 Pro. My flat roughly measures 180m2, both my 4 cats’ fur and my long hair are the main issues for the chosen vacuum and my floor is made of marble in the living area, parquet in the night area and gres in the bathrooms: an honest advice on which one to choose would be MUCH appreciated indeed. Thanks ❤️
If you don't have much carpet, 100% go for the Eufy S1 Pro. It is easily the best in terms of mopping due to its roller design and its obstacle avoidance is amongst the best too. Its main negative is that it is really bad on carpets The Qrevo Curv's obstacle avoidance is pretty bad and this is from multiple users and other reviews I've read. In terms of performance, it will perform pretty solid for mopping and on carpets, it's not too bad but they ditched their double brush design (from the QRevo Slim + QRevo Master), which GENERALLY is considered the superior design for deep carpet cleaning.
We have just added Pet Rating scores to our Best Robot Vacuums list right here: vacuumwars.com/best-vacuum-cleaners/robot-vacuums/ Our video about this should be coming soon. Thank you for asking about it.
Hello again, Vacuum Wars! Howve you been? Could you review the Qrevo Slim when it's released? Also possibly the x40 master since it's already out? Thank you so much for your hard work and content!
@ I really wanted this vacuum and I was already 80 or 90% sure, now 100 thanks to your excellent review. I needed the lifting chassis to go over my shag rug. I am curious though as to why on your website the dreame looks like it’s getting a better score but it’s at number two? I won’t be getting that one either way I was just curious. I am definitely sold on the curv. :-) Thank you!!
It just went on sale at Best Buy they have it for $300 off and also the eufy s1 pro, could you make a video of these 2 robots pleaseeee I cannot decide yet
Anyone else but me conserned about privacy with camera installed on vacuums? I think they should come with a motorised lens cover for example when it docks it would close the cover over the lenses. You would feel more comfortable then that its not spying on you
@vacuumwars Can I empty the internal water tank in the Curv through the app or is a plug to empty it? I'm concerned about Algae growth over time. I see loads of people with Algae problems in these units.
Having to add the threshold into the app makes sense. We wouldn’t want the vacuum ramming itself into everything it hits. Cool feature. Unfortunately it has a data collection camera.
Roborock does seem to be making actual efforts to make the market more competitive, not only by adding features, but by actually making them well. iRobot might have started the robovac market but they haven't innovated or made competitively performing and priced products in a long time.
The real challenge will start after the review of the Dreame X50 Ultra. Dreame will release its vacuum cleaner globally later than Roborock. I'm very curious about it. I wish we could see this comparison in advance. What do you think? Do you think the X50 Ultra will perform better than the Q Revo Curve?
What about dark floors? I have an issue with my older roomba where it avoids a dark area rug and even dark patterns on another carpet, so I don't want to buy a new one that has the same problem. I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere in your videos - can you add this to your testing criteria or point me to videos that talk about that if I'm just missing them.
Your site/rankings are misleading. You have the Eufy S1 Pro ranked #11, but clearly if you look above it, it’s better rated category by category, so how is it ranked below when it beats the competition by each metric? Ought to look into that more and appropriate them.
Ive been waiting for this review, thanks! Can you please measure the docking station depth above the robot entrance? Planning to place it inside a semi open closet and wondering if it would fit there, I have 36cm and it sounds too tight for this bulky dock
Great videos and site. But I would love to see a breakdown on your website for your scores across the board. As whilst you've listed the Curv as #1 overall, you haven't even listed it in the top 10 of the best vacuum/mopping section of your website, which suggests it primary use is not its strong point. A table we could sort by would be great. Unless you're trying to maximise the number of different branded clickable links on your site (which I hope isn't the case as that introduces bias).

Master is still the one to go for this black friday - can only assume it's price will be $900-950
Do you have the new Narwal Freo Z Ultra Robot Vacuum and Mop scheduled for a review? Thanks, and keep up the good work!
I am in the same dilemma, the evovacs x5 pro is also great. what to choose???
Our full review of the Narwal Freo Z Ultra is up now at: ua-cam.com/video/44tEV7M65Og/v-deo.html
Yikes $ 1600? they need to relax with these ridiculous prices.
give it 6 months when they release two more flagships and it will cost 900, just like the qrevo master that is on sale rn
@@berhanxo I had my Dream Z10 Pro for 3 years, my target with the Slim is now 5 years 😎
I agree but the amount of tech they keepnshoving in will always drive thee crazy prices. But great thing about roborocka is that prices do come down quite fast.
I paid £600 for a eufy, it does everything this does. Self cleaning, big enough wheels to climb, mops, self emptying, ai camera to avoid things and the app is awesome. Alot of customisation
You should test Bobby Pins.
Which ever vacuum can suck up or spit those out without clogging is what I'll buy.
Great video, as always! The vacuum looks amazing, but that front camera creeps me out a bit.
In other countries, I think Robocroc sells a version of this that can connect to clean and dirty water lines so you don’t have to empty them and refill them manually
So neat, love to hear you excited about a new vacuum!
Thank you!
..mop pads as disc shape Never can clean and do better job than roll shape mop, like Eufy s1 pro or Switchbot S10 , not saying that Eufy is the best looking robot. Maybe dual brush is a step forward, if you tested and is 0 hair tangle is a strong point. Great review..think you kinda rush make this a king 😃
they don’t get up to the edge that’s the trade off
Hello and thanks for your good reviews. I would like to know how many ml the waste container, clean and dirty water tanks at the station are and whether they are different from other qrevo products?
Amazing! Alright time for the Narwal Freo Z Ultra review?
Our full review of the Narwal Freo Z Ultra is up now at: ua-cam.com/video/44tEV7M65Og/v-deo.html
Noticed the new Dreame is in the number 2 spot now, but no corresponding review! Hope that comes up soon
Have you had a chance to look at the Dreame X40 Master yet? Looks very interesting. More like an appliance.
I purchased the S8 MaxV Ultra 2 weeks ago which I now see it’s ranked number 9 on your list and this Qrevo Curv is #1… do you think it’s worth to exchange it? I got tile floors with no pets.
I can't get this model in Aus but we have the Roborock Qrevo Edge available. Is it the same features as the curve but just looks different?
I just bought the QRevo Master over Prime Day based on your #1 ranking. Now it’s already second place. 😂😂😂. At least I got it for a good price.
There is still a lot to like about that Qrevo! We hope you enjoy it!
How much did you pay ?
I actually just initiated a return for my Qrevo Master. Going to get the curve! Wish it came in black!
If if came in black I would expect it to make snorting noises.
I'm finally getting myself a mop and vacuum robot in a few weeks with my job bonus. I've been watching these videos like crazy!
What are you going to buy? I'm also in the market for one
The curve does everything you need tbh. Plus I don’t have to baby sit it or wash/change pads.
@@Moonscentedhunterit's between the curv and the narwal freo z ultra. Just waiting for him to review it
@@Moonscentedhunter hey quick question, does it also have the refill and drainage system ? he doesn't mention it in the video so i assume it's not. Wonder why the system isnt more mainstream, surely it beats refilling the water tank every 2-3 days.
I just got my curve yesterday based off this review and list! I love it so much already! I used your affiliate link as well. Thank you so much for these in-depth reviews!!!
The running jump over the hump is a bit depressing since lol I was a backer for ascender. I look forward to someday seeing a stair climber.
Love your videos bud. keep doing that please :)
Appreciate that!
I'm in commercial flooring. The spinning pads are a big deal. We really do not recommend the vibrating pads on floors. Wears the finish prematurely
I've heard reports of the Roborock Q Series struggling a far amount on avoiding objects on carpets.
you can Review Ecovacs DEEBOT X8 PRO PLUS? with the roller Moving! OMG looking soo good! i think it will Be In first place in your ranking
Waiting for the Qrevo Slim review.
We just ordered it this week!
It’s on sale now for Black Friday already for $1299
All robots Qrevo-series has problems with recognition (wires, socks). The best among the robots Roborock today are G20S Ultra ( S8 Slim)
Hey Christopher, love your work! You said the QRevo curve came in equal third for average battery efficiency. Can you tell me what was number 1 2 and co-3rd in this category ?
Hi, is the roborock curv better? or the dreame x40 ultra?
When will you be able to test the Freo Z? Very excited to see your review for that one!
I'm doing a review on it myself.. along with dreame x40 possibly eufy pro 10 or 1 whichever it is lol😊
Our full review of the Narwal Freo Z Ultra is up now at: ua-cam.com/video/44tEV7M65Og/v-deo.html
I have the roborock pro it’s meh imo good at mopping but carpet deep cleaning wasn’t impressive at all and my house mostly carpet
@@JonathanMiller-fs6ro Is the curve better than the pro then?
They also have sales in the year so that is something to look out for!
great review as always, so the 18,500 Pa of HyperForce are just "theoretical" a commercial advertisement?
Seems like it
It does seem like a gimmick. I tested both highest settings and they sounded absolutely the same
These tests get more loosely and more opinion based every time.
For that price it shouldnt spread a single corn of sand imo

@@yoooei5792agreed. And what about the crevice test? It should get at least 95%.
Crowning it 'the king' doesn't make any sense. It has a lot of features, but it doesn't seem to ace the basics.
@@Logical Totally agree, although the threshold feature was pretty cool but other than that it doesn't seem its a big of a upgrade from previous tested models when it comes to cleaning peformance
@@maverick85because I think these are pretty much the best video's. But my grain of salt I take with them just keeps growing. Plus you make zero sense lol.
This is way better than last weeks video
recently i discovered dried pancake mix would make great test
I've been looking for this video! Qrevo Curv have been number one on you site for some time, but I just couldn't find the video :D
Please add how many places and where each vacuum has moved.
Its main negative is that it is really bad on carpets
The Qrevo Curv's obstacle avoidance is pretty bad and this is from multiple users and other reviews I've read.
I had a question. When you set the robot to mop and vacuum, is the vacuum lowered to the ground while its mopping?
Hello again, Vacuum Wars! Howve you been? Could you review the Qrevo Slim when it's released? Also possibly the x40 master since it's already out? Thank you so much for your hard work and content!
We are trying to keep up! Thanks for the suggestions!
@VacuumWars I'm really sorry if I'm asking to much! I really appreciate what you do!
The vaccuum I wanted you to review took the number one spot? 🎉😂❤ I’m buying this one. I can’t wait! Thank you so much your review was fantastic!!
Glad it helped you make a decision!
You would feel more comfortable then that its not spying on you
Please check out the cordless vacuum ETA Fenix. It's super cheap and amazing. But I'm not sure if you can buy it; it's from the Czech Republic.
Is the Qrevo Edge the excact same vacuum as the Curve just with a different dock with asthetics being the only difference?
@vacuumwars Can I empty the internal water tank in the Curv through the app or is a plug to empty it? I'm concerned about Algae growth over time. I see loads of people with Algae problems in these units.
Please do a test for the Roborock Qrevo Slim and Dreame Mova E30 Ultra.
Having to add the threshold into the app makes sense. We wouldn’t want the vacuum ramming itself into everything it hits. Cool feature. Unfortunately it has a data collection camera.
Robo Rock is always at the top when it comes to new innovations
Thanks amazing info... When the qrevo slim analysis. . Is my option right now I guess for but get VS the Curv.
We just order the Slim, so we should have a review soon. Thanks for asking.
Hi, when will you review the roborock Qrevo Slim? Benchmark against Qrevo Master and Curve would be great
Roborock does seem to be making actual efforts to make the market more competitive, not only by adding features, but by actually making them well.
iRobot might have started the robovac market but they haven't innovated or made competitively performing and priced products in a long time.
I would like to see Narwal Freo Z ultra review.
Our full review of the Narwal Freo Z Ultra is up now at: ua-cam.com/video/44tEV7M65Og/v-deo.html
You caught him. Eufy bullied him in middle school, and he’s never forgotten.
Ive been waiting for this review, thanks! Can you please measure the docking station depth above the robot entrance? Planning to place it inside a semi open closet and wondering if it would fit there, I have 36cm and it sounds too tight for this bulky dock
So this one has no detergent tank, correct? Do you just add some non-foaming detergent to the water tank?
Seems like the Narwal Freo X with auto empty. If it only had no disposable bags it would be perfect.
Would you choose this or the Eufy S1 Pro for 90% hardwood floors?
I would love to see your review of the UBPET 22000 pa, I’m testing it now and it’s impossible to find honest reviews online.
