Another informative video, that's one of the great things about x-plane the amount of freeware some great some not so but it does not cost anything to try. At the moment I'm not flying but it's giving me time to go through your past videos that you have made,but every time I see your night time graphics I'm blown away with what x-plane can do.

Great video, Osamah, as usual! I agree that XFMC stands at the top of the list of freeware plugins. Those new to X-Plane might be interested to know that XFMC can also be used to create and insert flight plans directly into the default Garmin GNS 430/530, complete with SIDS and STARS (which can be a big time saver). Some notable runners up, IMHO, include: Airport Navigator XChecklist Frequency Helper e-bag 124thATC In terms of tools, I would say hands down is X-Organizer. This tool has save me countless hours during testing and troubleshooting.

Fantastic Videos mate, I've been on a break from flight-simming (FSX) but I'm really keen on getting back to it. Your videos have convinced me to go for XP11! May I ask for the mods/addons you're using in this video? It looks absolutely breathtaking! Great explanatory video. It does look great. However, have you noticed a drop in fps or something similar that would indicate using reshade is "ressource heavy"? Or is it quite" light "?
X-life is a good plugin. I own it, and paid for it back in the day. But be aware that it only work with airports that have taxi routes bind to the Airport you wish to land at and fly out of. Go in with your eyes wide open. For my home airport KWJF, I had to create my taxi routes with WED but once I did that, it works great. Bare in mind, it takes in some cases a lot of time in creating those routes and making them work right. "You don't build them in 5 minutes". My experience as of this post X-Plane- b15, I get crashes to desk top and have confined from my testing that it is related to X-life. But don't be discouraged, once XP 11 goes final and the Devs for the product update it, you should be good to go. I like it I could go on and on back I think I bored you all enough. Okay. So you convinced me to take the plung to kill my XP 10, and buy XP 11.Two things I'm curious about. First, in xp10 I could right click my mouse, and have free moving view. This does not work in my xp11. So how are you moving your view around so easily? Second, how can you put xp11 into window view, instead of full screen view? It makes it very tough to follow tutorials, and make changes when it is in full screen mode. Thanks for all your help.
Sounds like some kind of problem with your install. X-Plane 11 uses the same right-click method of moving the view around. To switch into windowed mode, go to your graphical settings, section "MONITOR SETTINGS" and select windowed mode from the "Monitor usage" drop-down: www.helisimmer.com/wp-content-protected/uploads/2016/11/x-plane-11-graphics-settings.jpg
I would have said that the Zimbo Mod (with the built-in ASDG flight model) for the default 737 in X-Plane 11 is much better than the EADT x737...however that is only for X-Plane 11, of course. Nice video!
Thanks for this video. Your other videos have been very helpful as I've been trying to move to X Plane 11 from P3D. I have a quick question for you. How did you get your night lighting on your ground textures to go out so far? Is there a LOD setting somewhere I don't know about?
In X-Plane 11 this is already enabled. The Extended DSF feature is turned on by default. For the night lighting, I am using a modified version of the default lights which I covered in a previous video. The file is available on the xplane org, but let me know if you can't find it.

I am an FSX Fanboy and have been for alot of years, and i wonder is xplane 11 worth buying? i am really tired of flying in FSX now due to the fact that i need to many addons and the graphic is not meeting today's standards, and i really like immersion in my flights, so is X plane a better choice than FSX?
I tried using XFMC to load a flight plan for the A350 as you said you do, but it very much is a total mess. Could you either explain more fully, or make a video on how to properly do this?
i downloaded x-life and it kept crashing my system. i uninstalled but it still throws up a sound bank error. a full tutorial will be very much appreciated. great video keep up the good work
Too bad RTH seems to be discontinued. Or maybe some plugins from Xplane 10 have become obsolet? At least Blu-Fx still works. (Btw. I love the realistic Bluish for cloudy weathers). And some other plugins I like.

PLS RESCUE ME ,I have this Cabin altitude everytime I fly with jar,ssg a ramzzess,as the plane starts decent from 30k + feet it results the engines goes idle and results in Cabin Autitude alarm ,packs 1 2 and 3 goes off and cabin goes really dark,overhead panel doesn't have a switch that will fix it or does it ?

Wobbly Law yes you can use it with a key board, it should work with the RAM and CPU specs you provided, however you will also need a good graphics card with at least 2 gb and recommended 4gb or more VRAM.
Hello, can someone tell me, where to install all those addons? There is no such folder in xplane 11, other than plugins. Do they go into the custum scenery? Checked the net already but without any success. Thanks in advance.

I have 3 1080p monitors (5760x1080 resolution) with Ortho4XP photo scenery and pretty decent settings running smoothly on a Core2Duo at 4ghz and a GTX770. Antialiasing kills it, so that's set low. So, yeah... you'll be set.
Please help me! I also have the A350 and updated it so it is compatible to X-PLANE 11. But when I load it, the engines doesn't work, so they are off. The primary flight displays aren't working and on the head panel there are many errors. It's the only Aircraft I bought yet and it's very annoying that it doesn't work?
Hi Philip, please use the updater which is available in your A350 aircraft folder to update the aircraft to the latest version. If you don't see the updater, please go to the org store and redownload your aircraft. I had the same issue, but the latest version is working fine.

Reshade will consume FPS. The actual hit will depend largely on your setup.

It was a good plane with (back in the days) outstanding quality! It was very popular, and was used many times! When in 2012 X-Plane 10 came out, the Concorde wasn't ready for it, and didn't work with the new simulator. In 2013 it seemed that the plane wouldn't get an upgrade for X-Plane 10 anymore. People switched to X-Plane 10 completely and forgot the Concorde... But now it is back as a freeware product, and with an X-Plane 10 upgrade! It is a nice plane to fly in, and it is very entertaining! Includes a 2D and a 3D cockpit, 3D cabin, 3D exterior and more!

This aircraft was released a long time ago, in 2010 by atgcab. (Later known for being the creator of Rotate) For everyone's surprise in 2010, this plane was freeware! Back in these days this plane would be worth 60 dollars! It has a nice 3D cockpit, but it falls back on systems. Only 60% of the knobs are clickable, but the most important stuff is available for you to use in this plane! In 2013 Robbo made some tweaks and fixes to the plane, and improved the quality. This is maybe the most known freeware airliner for X-Plane: The EADT x737-800! This plane has an amazing development in the past 8 years! EADT released their 737-700/800/900 8 years ago as a V1, saying that there will be a V2. After 5 major updates and 7 years of development later the only one left is the 737-800, which maybe was the star of EADT. In May 2016 V5 got released after 3 years of new development. It finally got a real 3D cockpit! The 3D cockpit is a really good gamechanger! It got amazing quality with 90% of the cockpit modelled! You really see the years of development this plane had, and we appreciate that! In January 2017 EADT said they will bring out a 737-700 in the next 3 months, so we got 2 choices soon! Includes an amazing 3D Cockpit, Up-to-date cabin, nice exterior, Scimitar Winglets option, custom sounds, custom animations and more!

Moving shadow is not a bug. It is the reflection of the cloud on the ground relative to the camera position. It is actually very realistic.

I am an FSX Fanboy and have been for alot of years, and i wonder is xplane 11 worth buying? i am really tired of flying in FSX now due to the fact that i need to many addons and the graphic is not meeting today's standards, and i really like immersion in my flights, so is X plane a better choice than FSX?
In my opinion, XP 11 is light years ahead of FSX, but that's my opinion!

I personally prefer the default 737 over the x737 as the texturing looks better.

Too bad RTH seems to be discontinued. Or maybe some plugins from Xplane 10 have become obsolet?
At least Blu-Fx still works. (Btw. I love the realistic Bluish for cloudy weathers). And some other plugins I like.
But X-Plane 11 supports saveable camera settings by default... (default views: NUM0-9, saving views Ctrl+NUM0-9)

PLS RESCUE ME ,I have this Cabin altitude everytime I fly with jar,ssg a ramzzess,as the plane starts decent from 30k + feet it results the engines goes idle and results in Cabin Autitude alarm ,packs 1 2 and 3 goes off and cabin goes really dark,overhead panel doesn't have a switch that will fix it or does it ?

You can zoom using either the mouse wheel or using the "" keys on your keyboard.

I have World Traffic 2.0 and to be honest I barely used it. I'm waiting for version 3 that is supposed to be easier and faster to set up.
WT2 is a good plugin, but unfortunately it taxes the FPS a lot and quite complex to set up.

Wobbly Law yes you can use it with a key board, it should work with the RAM and CPU specs you provided, however you will also need a good graphics card with at least 2 gb and recommended 4gb or more VRAM.

This would give you ultra smooth experience. Get a good monitor though!
I have 3 1080p monitors (5760x1080 resolution) with Ortho4XP photo scenery and pretty decent settings running smoothly on a Core2Duo at 4ghz and a GTX770. Antialiasing kills it, so that's set low. So, yeah... you'll be set.

Please help me! I also have the A350 and updated it so it is compatible to X-PLANE 11. But when I load it, the engines doesn't work, so they are off. The primary flight displays aren't working and on the head panel there are many errors. It's the only Aircraft I bought yet and it's very annoying that it doesn't work?
Hi Philip, please use the updater which is available in your A350 aircraft folder to update the aircraft to the latest version. If you don't see the updater, please go to the org store and redownload your aircraft. I had the same issue, but the latest version is working fine.
