There have been times that I've sat all day listening to sound recordings to be able to pick out the weird unknown sounds that I've posted on this video.
I’m a true believer in Yowie and big foot but come on mate, you are pushing the bounds of reality. Water drips ? Really. One good sound out of 10 maybe and that was # 1.
Well, all these sound recordings were recorded when I placed sound recorders in the bush. No one was there for seven days while the recorders were active. So there is no possibility of anyone taking pictures.
I use a professional parabolic dish from America that has a digital sound recorder attached to it. To record it all. The setup is in this video when I recorded the wood knock at Bungonia Natioal Park.
Thanks for sharing these Dan. Very interesting sounds. Shows how dedicated you are listening to all those hours of recording 👍

Thanks Dan.When a field guide gets written your info and Rusty’s will be invaluable.
The last one almost sounds like wolves howling.
But we don't have wolves in Australia. I've also done a comparison to wild dogs and Dingo's. All sound completely different.
Yes I know mate! I'm an Aussie from Victoria. Was just noticing the similarity.

When you think there isn't anything around you in the bush...that is the time to photograph.
