    Years later but I still love this shoe. I still got several pairs left and no doubt one of my favorites ever. Wraps around your foot, cushion is good out the box, super durable. 10/10.

    This is your best review I,ve seen. Congratulations on the edition, I was unsure about the shoe (many people say it makes your feet hot). But after this and trying it on a store I ordered my pair online.
    Hopefully I like it as much as the twos, which are amazing.

    I finnaly trashed my pair after 2 years of 3x per week of play, last few months was playing outdoors. The review was spot on down to the achiles pain issues. It was an awesome shoe that I will surely miss once the achilles issue was solved with not so tight lacing and double socks!

    Hey man, I just got these shoes in the mail, and you actually made me want them. First of all, thank you for the amazing videos man, I subed to your channel & I watch all your videos now.
    I just have a question, how do you wear these exactly? The asymmetrical lacing is something new for me, and I'm not sure if I should wear the laces on the top, or the second to the top. Both are fine, but the second to the top feels a tiny bit better, however, the tongue sticks out a bit more. Could you please give me your best advice? And Thank you.

    • @JAHRONMON
      @JAHRONMON  8 років тому

      My best advice is go with whichever feels right for you. I lace mine to the top but if you feel that the second to the top feels better, go with that.

    • @GearsAndGains1
      @GearsAndGains1 8 років тому

      +JAHRONMON thanks man, I'll try and experiment with both, but I'll probably lace it to the top, just to make it more secure. Thanks for responding!

  • @reb349
    @reb349 8 років тому

    how long did you break them in? I just bought a pair as the changed materials seem like my dream shoe (big man that likes a bit of responsiveness)
    I enjoyed the 2s but yeah I did find the support lacking (so they didn't become my go-to but I rocked them on court a lot as part of my rotation)

    • @JAHRONMON
      @JAHRONMON  8 років тому

      They don't really have a break in time. What you get out of the box is how they'll be for the most part.

    • @reb349
      @reb349 8 років тому

      +JAHRONMON I'll play in them on friday evening so hopefully these are as good as I think they'll be. loved the fit on these and the cushioning is good enough for me that I won't hurt my knees. if all goes well these might end up as my go-to shoe.

    • @reb349
      @reb349 8 років тому

      +JAHRONMON they didn't disappoint! felt awesome in last night's pick up games. charged makes my feet hurt after 2+ hours of playing though so I might just mostly wear these in regulated games (or shorter pick up sessions). definitely replacing my 2s with these though.

  • @JJcDAmAn1
    @JJcDAmAn1 8 років тому

    So what if I'm a 2 guard/forward with an ankle brace that is primarily a 3-D guy? Would the 2.5 be better than the 2's?

    • @JAHRONMON
      @JAHRONMON  8 років тому

      If you value support over ventilation and weight, the 2.5's would be my recommendation.
      If you want a shoe that feels light on your feet and minimal, go with the Curry 2.

    • @JJcDAmAn1
      @JJcDAmAn1 8 років тому

      JAHRONMON I have the Curry 2's. I don't know if I should stick with them now considering what you have said about the 2.5's.

      +JAHRONMON yea definitely. Traction was great like you said but that heel thing killed the shoe for me. Not sure why but it only hurt when I flexed my foot. I'll stick to the hyperdunks. Softer materials (relatively) and full length zoom. Thanks! Shout out from Hawaii, keep up the great videos man!

      No it's not clunky. It is heavier than the Curry 2 but not a 'heavy' shoe by any means and yes, this can be a good show for point guards but if you can spare the extra support, I would go with the Curry 2 for a more lightweight experience.
