Usually, when I think of my heroes dying, I think of "how will I do it without them" you've shown me the template. Now I know I can. Show strength, bravery, beauty. Be humble and know vulnerability isn't a sin. Love what you can't, and do for what you love. The world, and I in it, are better for you having been here.

I swear Andrea, you’re more than just a poet! You’re a collector of good raw genuine people, the amount of amazing creative, beautiful people you bring together to share your art is utterly incredible.
I do this with them. I find myself avoiding Andrea's posts. I took a poetry class with them and it moved me. I didn't say a word in the class. Not one word, but it was amazing. I am afraid to pick my head up because what if they are gone and I miss them? I can't......

I got this via the newsletter. And it broke me in a way I could not respond. You have told us how much you have learned to love since your diagnosis. And I do not expect you to not fear that diagnosis. But. Please know that every breath, every tree, every deer, every drive in the convertible, every snuggle with Meg is a precious thing that loves you back.
