    • @theduder2617
      @theduder2617 4 роки тому +26

Just take into consideration the potential effects of THC in a pressurized environment.
That is a lot of weight pushing down on the body. Which causes disturbances to bodily functions.
Although they may be slight disturbances, the brain also "runs" a little differently at pressure.
Plus the oxygen levels are different, which alters brain chemistry.
Sure, it may turn out to be safe, but with absolutely zero data to even support "safeness", it may be better to experiment in a controlled manner long before jumping in the pool so to speak.
Although there are still many who illogically feel paranoia after smoking up. You do not want paranoia and panic in an environment which can kill if mistakes are made.
After all, it's the secondary reason why astronauts are not allowed to consume the molecule.

I grew up in the keys. Sailboat, live aboard anchored in boca chica bay, key west.
*the jewfish, now called the goliath mouthed grouper for reasons obvious, is a giant cyclid. The 'boom' it is capable of producing, is actually both a sound audible and a tauroidal vortex you can feel if boomed in your direction. If the great fish is facing you, you're literally a conduit of this vortex. It's actually two tauroidal rings flying forward, one entering and expanding around the other, which enters it and expands around the next over and over.)
Like a mushroom cloud, the only stable shape you can produce in a fluid, only flip it on it's side, traveling across the ocean horizontally.
Like a powerful smoke ring, precisely the same shape actually.
Think of a hail cannon, it can do this with it's powerful mouth, gill plates, tongue and muscles.
    An amazing fish!
*please don't bother killing and eating ones over 3ft or so. They are notoriously riddled with sea worms and parasites. Not joking, watching one of these poor giants being filleted?
    *very visceral experience, indeed*

Fun fact: there's no toilet and they go in the water to pee. When they have to poop, they go a little bit further to avoid having a floater around. Every time someone goes to the poop area, many fish swim towards them because it's open buffet. There was a hilarious interview about it on Joe Rogan podcast.

      ISS doesn't exist in space

    • @bromando44
      @bromando44 4 роки тому

@@pepe-zg5iu lol okay, so where does it exist? Because although space doesnt start at any specific altitude...the karman line is 62 miles asl. (above sea level) and is used as the common altitude among countries as the beginning of space. The ISS orbits at around 250 miles asl. And yes, there is still gravity out that far...which is how the ISS and satellites orbit. And orbiting is really just endlessly falling, which is what gives the sense of weightlessness, or zero gravity. And when you think of space, you think zero gravity and a perfect vacuum.. which isnt really what the ISS is in. So is your statement false? Eh, yes and no.

    🎶The seaweed is always greener
    In somebody else's lake
You dream about going up there
But that is a big mistake
Just look at the world around you
Right here on the ocean floor
    Such wonderful things surround you
What more is you lookin' for?🎶
    🎶Under the sea
    Under the sea
    Darling it's better
    Down where it's wetter
    Take it from me
Up on the shore they work all day
Out in the sun they slave away
    While we devotin'
    Full time to floatin'
    Under the sea🎶

Fascinating piece. However 1:11 if you're at 20 meters depth for ANYTHING between 5-60 minutes you don't have to worry AT ALL about resurfacing fast? Seems risky. Surely the air pressure in the habitat is increased to prevent the bends when reentering from diving? Teasy thing this wasn't mentioned.
