For any new watchers, if the opponent sets a backline card and the card goes dark before they end their turn, it's a spell card. If the backline card retains the same colour as when set by the opponent when they end their turn, it's a trap card. Easy to distinguish

Been playing casually for years ever since I was a kid, and have never beaten the Final 6. Starting to run this game, thanks to your video. Enjoyed the run!
thats very casual :D i havent beaten final 6 as a kid but did many times since when i did playthroughs. its tough but if you farm enough it gets much easier.
Nice! I remember playing this as a kid with a mate, like we farmed meadow until 3 MBD and still couldn't beat the game. Then one time i borrowed i stormed the final 7 (cause no idea bout seto2) and used all the warriors and equips, mainly remember using skull knight and regular gaia of all things
When I try to speedrun it (aside of the drop rng) these days I tend to ignore the seto2 fight and just straight go for all high priests skipping the seto2 fight
Ok made it to the mages in my casual run, I'll report back after whooping isis another hundred times lol. Biggest L rn is no equips, but again it's casual (for now)

we need to get konami to make a remake on the ps5 with being able to get all cards but a new card for boss be five headed dragon who agrees with me here
Cause Seto and Darknite can play backrow spells/traps. Raigeki doesn't get rid of them. I still prefer Raigeki for the whole run, and most do. Raigeki is also faster animation wise

Nah those sub 3 hour runs might not use RNG manip but there's some dark magic involved to get those times

Ohhh I didn't know that. Black hole in the card game just wipes summons. That's why I was so confused.
