Everything was looking good untill he told 1 cr lol. I was expecting 40 to 50 lacs
Interviewer: so what is your hoobies
Me: watching cars reviews that I can't afford😅
Even if the comment is awesome, I won't like this comment
same bhai 😥😥😥
the autocar review is very exclusive.the correct video editing, destination picking is also one measure talking point. Autocar makes some special
Audi E-tron needs to show up can't wait for the next generation of cars in India 😌
It's good to see Mercedes bring in this car...It will act like a proof of concept for electric premium cars...and hopefully we will see more cars over the years with a more reduced price
What happens if the charge is completely low and there is few more kms to reach the destination? Is there any kind of backup to manage?
7:17 hahah sheer stupidity i dont understand so called SUV culture. "EV SUV" and one has to worry about car scraping on speedbreakers. LMAO
At this moment, the SUV stature of EQC did not look to be Indian 'Off-road' ready. If a 4-wheel drive-train is on board, the battery pack should have been placed a little higher on the chassis. And to become a practical competitor of its ICE siblings, the upfront price of EQC should be calculated sans the battery pack; battery pack should be leased out separately. Hope, Merc bosses didn't bring this model for market survey only and nor want to get obsolete in this price conscious market, like Toyota Prius.
The low ground clearance might not work in its favour especially when damaging the battery can be very inconvenient and expensive.
Great review! Pricey option though. I'd definitely buy a GLC and may be plant trees with remaining 40 odd lakhs, that will be way more contribution for Greener planet! :) Or may be, I will get a Nexon EV instead.. ;)
@5:48 That kills it for car enthusiasts!
I CANT WAIT FOR TESLA IN INDIA !!!!!!!!!!
Things needed:
-Superchargers at every petrol bunk
-A Gigafactory
-Some magical way to rid the average indian's mind of RANGE ANXIETY !!!!!!!!!!
Lets go to 2050
May be in 10 years.
Tesla will be slap for this eqc...
Yes
Petrol bunks aren't designed to manage EVs. Fuel cars don't need much time so the queue keeps on going but EVs need superchargers where a car might take 10-20 min atleast. So longer queues, hence a totally new setup
I guess i saw you'll at karjat station junction followed by a merc v class. Looks better in real
merc makes one of the quiet vehicles .. now the electric motor makes it quieter....
loved it
why will someone pay 40-50L extra for GLC like car/ 1 Cr is big amount for GLC sized EV.
Sir any updates about Celerio 2020 ?
No reason watching a ev car review, by the tym ev infra is developed, there will b more updated versions...
But no one will build Ev infra if no one buys enough Ev cars.
If you're are a wealthy person it would be a kind of social service to buy electric cars so that it make economic sense to build electric infrastructure across the country.
People had your mentality when Tesla first took off but they generated enough hype for rich enthusiasts to buy it and now look where they are.
I'd appreciate it people bought electric cars so that a middle class person like myself could buy a exciting electric car for reasonable price in the near future without hassle.
I love driving ICE cars but no point in having a ICE for daily commute to the office and just boring trip between point A to B in traffic.
Will anyone buy this 1 crore Merc EV when there are better cars available for that price range..and the time taken to charge an EV is still a problem for most buyers..and that low ground clearance doesn’t help at all on Indian roads..hope they develop a technology soon to lower the charging speeds to 10 minutes or less or else find a way to start battery replacement centres wherein the low charge battery can be replaced with a fully charged one within minutes..and i heard this battery replacement concept is under development..!!
10 minutes?
I'll rather buy a nice 70lakhs flat and get Kia Seltos or MG Hector and I'll have enough money to spare
1.5 on road
Sports cars & luxury car have nightmares when riden of rural indian roads
Why, u buy a bnw m2 competition with your hard earned money or shut up your mouth
What's this place you guys are testing the vehicle at?
Do we have this in hybrid model car ?
This car looks so futuristic and luxurious
😍😍
Waiting for the electric future 💥
Flamboyant Design + Electric motor producing 400hp and 760Nm + Luxury and Comfort = Mercedes Benz EQC
If I want to go long journey in an emergency about 600kms then where should I charge after 400kms I should sleep in the car itself.
EQC is a different bet all together. Firstly, each electric power charging station should see options of other OEMs DC chargers(Kia, MB, TATA etc) instead of having them spread out isolated, clubbed like what UPI did to our payment methods. That i believe is the first step to let prospective customers use for their existing electric cars. Cars, range and price stand later in our country.
In cannaught place delhi i saw 4 different charging port of different companies
Hormand sir this Mercedes Benz EQC is amazing. But can you please tell me this car has comparison with which car
Nyc review plz do make a video review on the newly launched The mighty S class waiting to see it 😍😍😍
How much it costs for a full charge? An approx idea?
This is quite amazing!
Can u make an episode, how an Air conditioners work in EV S. Does it affect the range like in IC engine cars.?
Yes it does. Heating usually has a greater impact on range than cooling the cabin.
My question is like Samsung Moto OnePlus we can use same charger USB C
so suppose I travel somewhere so can I use MG charger in Tata and Mercedes car
Can I use Tata charger in Mercedes and MG because in all city there will not there Mercedes charger or showroom
Finally, most awaited review ...Sorabjee has been teasing us with this car in his insta for a long TIME !
Autocar🔥
Crisp and clear content ♥️
Quality of autocar content is unmatched. My most favourite auto channel
What's the on road price love the interior and dashboard of the car
Once upon a time, Mercedes used to be my dream car. I would still ❤️to have a Merc. 💚 Is the future for all SUVs. However, I still don't understand why car 🚗 companies don't make cars with high ground clearances???
The car is just amazing😯
3:30 quite happy to see cameraman wearing mask😊😊
Cool I never thought Benz would actually re
Ease this in india
I love how the dashboard interior looks
that costs 90 lakhs.... rest is only 10 lakhs
Seeing the rising petrol and deisel prices...we need remote charging stations in india for EV to be a success
Good to see an EV by a premium brand..hope to see them in the lower segments soon.
Hyundai kona ev. There are 3 of them in my layout
How much range of travel it can provide?
Hormazd sir , please do a review of toyota yaris bs6.
For the moment I thought I could afford it but when the price was unveiled 😅
It's wow!❤️🔥
Ground clearance is gonna be an issue... especially when you have batteries down there.
The front end could have been done better.Great review.. nonetheless
Front grille design they have messed up. Front looks not good.
All the Merc's footage looks like vfx.. Very seamlessly designed.
Electric car has only two problems
1. Finding charging station at right place
2. Should charge the car as fast as possible
Or they should use solar a little bit for emergency purpose
Battery life cycle.
Happy to see India turning into a eco friendly country ❤️
damn this is cool🔥🔥
What is the full form of NEDC?
Great work in short video
Awesome ❤️
What is the location in the last 2 mins?
#autocar is my fav channel❤️❤️
It's a statement 🔥
The ultimate target for car manufacturers should be to unify on a common car battery, so that rather than charging somehwere, drivers would be able to just go to a station, pay for the recharged batter and give the non-charged battery.
A great fan of Mercedes...😁😁😎🔥
You can’t really compare electrical to combustible vehicles, but this is the future. I don’t know why it is so expensive in India. It’s about 65 lakhs in UK.
Why don't we have solar energy consumed through front , back, side windows and all , which is using currently in porche cayanne. That saves some bit of energy as well as can recharge the battery 🤷
I'm surprised that Tata didn't bring the Jaguar I-Pace to India first, as it was launched before the EQC in Europe.
It looks great!
450 kms is it ARAI rated ?? If So... similar to kona...?
It's a Mercedes
What is the price of the new benz
Which song is that ( at the start)
Amazing vehicle! If only India had a better EV charging infrastructure then this vehicle would be 🔥. Can’t wait for more companies to compete in the EV segment and get this cheaper.
It’s tooo costly for what it is.
Indian gov needs to give subsidy for this kind of vehicle so that can helps to reduce the pollution in big cities ❣️👍🏻
Would like to see range in real condition driving
Well, A great move by Merc but I personally feel it’s a bit overpriced as competitors who will launch their cars have an advantage over the price perspective.
Finally🙌🙌🔥
i love that green number plate
actually, this car costs only 50 lakhs in the international market but in India, the tax rate adds up the green evs to hot plate pricing menu. People in India would think about EV's only if the govt is ready to cut off the tax rate.
Nice
A great step taken by Mercedes Benz 👏🙌
Autocar India is best
With the lack of charging infrastructure in India, Mercedes should've thought about this
Kindly do a real-life range video
1 crore means 60L for car with 40L for Lithiam Battery Packs with 8 yrs. warranty on battery,
No running cost, no maintaince, no registration, no road tax
Now, All depends on financials how it will spread over the years
Lets C
If I’m supposed to go from Bangalore to Tirupathi with full charge, by the time I reach Tirupathi, the battery would have been drained. Where am I supposed to charge my car in Tirupathi? Because the network of charging stations in India is completely absent. Just a thought..haha.
Compared to its company and its ev and it has been shipped in India the price is really good
The bumper looks more like merc mpv which has to be changed.
Master piece😍
Yikes. 1 crore. Definitely a lifestyle product. Wonder how long it'll take us to effectively get 350-400km EV's for 20~25 lakhs.
Very soon
They still need to bring that technology where you can charge your car as fast as you can refuel your regular petrol and diesel car, that day ev will truly succeed
21 hours to fully charge through a normal socket huh... That maybe a tad too much don't you think
Green number plate looks really wonky😂
1Cr for this with all the limitations!! Good luck selling it in India!
Lovely car to look at!
What is in the frunk, by the way?
Secondly the ground clearance is disaapointing, probably Merc has something planned!
Front trunk or in short frunk
Benz dominating in real world, not only in F1😂👍
Finally luxury car makers climbing EV rope.good to see a production ready car with decent 300km range , range anxiety taken care.
Mercedes-Benz EQC has finally been launched in India at a price of Rs 99.3 lakh (on-road).Oct 8, 2020
I think government should build more electric stations all over india to make a systematic shift from petrol diesel to electric vechiles in newr future
Wow will be interesting EV.
VW and Merc..the big boys are finally coming to the party
It could face a competition from JAGUAR I Pace which might be coming to India soon.
Beast ❤️
Price
..the number plate...🔥
Mercedes cars are not only great piece of engineering but also gorgeous piece of art!
Hey aritha, did u owned a car
I am a die hard fan of Mercedes, but trust me this one's looks didn't meet my expectations
