I've been a big fan of k.d. Lang since she first came on the scene. Saw her on Johnny Carson's tonight show in the late 80's & was blown away by her voice. She's one of my favorite female singers 🎵♥️

I love to watch young people discover K. D. Lang for the first time. (I'm nearer 80 than 70) I've been listening to her since the early '80s. She has to be the finest singer of her era. Find some others, like Crying. You won't be disappointed.

I’ve seen this probably hundred of times and I still get chills and tears listening to it.
There are countless covers of this song, but kd's (particularly from the the 2010 Olympics) is my fave.

As anyone prays there is that bottoming out of a person's soul. The need to give all to the foot of the cross. No apology from K.D. Lang walks the Leonard Cohen Lyric to the edge of the stage as she lives and breathes each word of this timeless song. We all have the emotion of despair but few can utter its truth better.
Our beautiful KD from Consort Alberta…. No one will ever top her. Too bad so many genres froze her out.
