I just bury my favorite tomato slices from grocery, I have so many from cherry tomatoes, Roma and large slicing tomatoes. I had over a hundred plants that produced tomatoes throughout the summer. It was a lot of fun to grow them that way.☺️💕

This thought me a great idea to make a tomato seedling. Tomato was been so expensive in our market nowadays. So, it's better to have it planted in your own place. Doesn't need for a large space.

chris turco .. I was wondering the same. But, I too, will be giving it a try. If it does work, what a game changer. And. the concept. should produce stronger plants from the calcium of the shells. However, we're going to have to boost the soil, when replanting the shells, We know how they love nitrogen. Good work to you.

atharva mehta LoL that drives me crazy. I do this every year. Those plants will grow of course then they’ll need to be transplanted individually, into bigger pots. And that’s it. So easy. The egg shell part isn’t imperative if you can’t do it. You can even add crushed shells to the hole before planting. It’s easy and fun. Best of luck and stay safe. Love from Canada 🇨🇦.

that's peat soil, the best variety is coco peat with some orchid bark, its a very loose soil and has great drainage which helps tomatoes. It's hard to comeby if you dont live in the tropics though.

So about 7 years ago, I had gotten a pineapple. Without knowing what I was doing, I cut the top off, leaving about an inch of flesh and just stuck the poor thing in dirt,in a pot...
    It is still alive today!!!
    I love it!
But I feel terrible having watched yhis vidro because mine is in a very small pot...
After writing this post, I am immediately going to move it to a better bigger pot.
I have had it in my East facing kitchen all these years...
It has never produced a fruit, but it looks awesome!!!
Thank you for this cool video!

We cant do anything to those who judge first before analyzing.
If you think this video is useless, then think again.
This video teaches us a lesson.
Most people cook tomatoe with egg and they just throw the shells in the garbage can which adds a problem on where to dispose the so called garbages. In the video, it gives us some solution on how to dispose some waste in a way that it is also useful. Some farmers use plastic bags in growing the seeds and when they are done using those plastic bags, they just throw these ones as a wastes which also adds to the waste problem.
Got my point? Sorry i can't explain it clearly. But the main point is that this video is an ecofriendly act. Instead of increasing the number of garbages, why not do something helpful by means of doing little acts like this one. Less garbages, less problem.
    😊✌
