i have depression and I was told gardening helps with your sadness and now I have a flower garden and radishs and carrots and it really made me happier because i had something to take care of everyday and look forward to taking care of
That is very nice, I'm glad you are feeling happier! I always find peace in gardening too. It's so good to plant and watch them grow as you water and take care of them! 🥰 Wish you all the best 🌺❤️
Cute dog and great vegetables. At least you cared to try groom your dog. Great effort. This makes me appreciate all the hard work farmers, truckers, and groomers do for us. Thank you for sharing.
We really learned a lot today. Its really satisfying to see plants grow. There's a silent connection or bond made with plants, once we started growing them. Hodu looks so cute! Thank you.
Absolutely wonderful. I love this kind of urban gardening, this shows how people are so innovative in every little thing. Agriculture is not only agriculture but it is Agri-COOL-ture.
I'm glad to see someone else repurposes water bottles for growing plants! I use water bottles in a very similar fashion for rooting African violet leaves. I use sphagnum moss for my wick and regular potting soil, and keep the bottoms half or less full of water. Works very well!
a helpful tip for celery and lettuces: As you see they sprout new growth from the middle. Try removing leave from the outside first until there are only a few in the middle. Then root or plant. This should make it even easier to grow!

This is such a beautiful and soothing video! Loved seeing the planting methods
I have planted green onions and coriander leaves roots. And they started showing new leaf.i am so happy for this. Everyday I watch them I it's very satisfying 😁
It was lovely seeing your plants! I am glad that you tried cutting Hodu’s hair! It is extra work, but it is personalized and you can always trim more as needed! (Doing it yourself saves a little money too!) Thank you for the video!
Zobaczyłam koreańskie napisy i pomyślałam , no tak oni mają dobry klimat i lepsze rośliny.
Hodu is precious. I am glad you both have each other during these trying times. Thank you for the wonderful video. Recycle, reuse, repurpose, and upcycle! Stay safe and know that you are blessed.
Awww I loved everything about this video ! it was also helpful to see that they can rot sometimes , thank you! Lovely urban garden you got there (and a cute dog!)
I love this video! I’ve been trying to also regrow veggies from food scraps that we would normally discard. I love the self-watering planter idea! Sharing this with others, and I’ll try it too! Thanks again!
it's very satisfying watching from the very beginning where your first attempt was failed & later on the plants started to grow through self watering method! very inspiring though! I enjoy watching every sec of this 😍
I have been using these types of planters to root cuttings. I love them so much! I group them so that exposed roots are hidden from the sunlight, but when I water I can check to see how they're coming along. When the roots go through to the water it's time to repot.
This was a great video and I love the idea of the self watering planter made from such simple things. The star of the show was sweet Hodu. I think you did a wonderful job of trimming his hair and he was so good for you. My dog's hair needs to be trimmed too so I've purchased a pet hair trimmer online, still waiting for it to arrive.. I hope my little boy Dodo (pronounced dough dough) will be as well behaved as Hodu. Wish me luck. 😊💕💕
This is a great video, I’m going to go to the supermarket tomorrow and try this with lettuce - I have mint and coleus growing in water, but I’m going to make some self-watering bottles for them once the roots are longer and bigger. I also think you did a great job of Hodu’s hair, he looks very handsome!
I miss Muszynianka water so much I rarely find it where I live now. Your journey made me realise i shouldnt give up on growing windowsill veg. Thank you.

💕😮
It was helpful to see the "failures" along with the successes. I was also able to regrow lettuce, though it has not yet grown roots.
It will take some time for the roots to grow. Good luck!🌿
Would it help to slice off a thin layer at the bottom of the vegetable to reduce bacteria and encourage root growth?
Yes! That’s so true!
Instead of seeing only successful example and wondering why mine kept dying, this shows what I did was normal!
@@HODUNE I saw tiny roots on the lettuce today! I have a small pot with a hole in the bottom & will try to make it grow.

No pun intended
Awesome. And I really loved the dog at the end. I especially loved how you segwayed into grooming the dog.
