Looking at your enchant recommendations, Landslide is after striking in mele. Unless we are mele weaving, this should never proc. Wouldn't mighty agility with 130 Agility all the time be better?
How about reputation orders/getting pre-bis gear?
One bit too, in pull i prefer using auto attack pet attack, after explo shot black arrow and the last is serpent sting with this you have a chance your passive trinket proc before serpent sting and you can maintain a buffed version of the dot if the fight dont uave immun or swap mechanic.
if u have a buff and use cobra shot, which u will do early. serpent sting gets uptaded
Orc racial has better use for hunters since you already want that haste soft cap which is augmented further by rapid fire and heroism/bloodlust etc
This makes sense, Orcs are reallllly nice with their racial tbh!
Also 5% pet dmg and 30% stun reduction useful in some fights
Why wouldn't you take point of no escape for pve? it's free crit chance on all heroic dungeons and some raid boss encounters instead of 10% stam

are you sure about using explosive shot back to back? wouldnt that consume previous shot's ticks? Every other guide says so, or is it changed?
Yes he is wrong about that. You need to wait or use a filler arcane shot/cobra if haste is fast enough. Also we are hardly ever in excess of focus to use arcane shot, youre better going serpant sting glyph as prime, it will also boost your aoe dps.
I've checked the ticks on target dummy and back to back explosive shot works just fine. It's the third one that overwrites ticks.
@@ahogan7355 These are good thoughts. The glyph and talents combined increases the bonus critical strike chance to 16%. This will be OP when the total combined crit chance is over 50%. On the subject of focus... with the pvp 2 set and consequent increased explosive shot hit count, focus return in this case is surplus and focus>90 is often met. In this case, arcane shot can be prioritized in between explosive shot auras. Food for thought.

Should i be leveling 1-85 as survival for dungeon sake or should i go BM for quality of life stuff?

Not Landslide on the Weap. It only triggers on meele hits.:D Just +130 Agi on 2handed meele Weap! Gnomish X-Ray Scope or Flintlocke's Woodchucker on your range Weap.

Marksmanship is arguably better but in my personal opinion survival is cooler.

Pump the brakes broski, haste is not actually too useful for survival hunters outside of breakpoints, like the famous "757" one where you can fit 3 cobra shots between explosive shots. If you get obscene amounts of haste you can fit 4, but thats not advisable. I'd say best hunter race alliance side is worgen like you said (or draenei, depending if you have one in your group for raids), and ORC for horde(or goblin, as it changes your required haste and lets you reforge more into crit). Personally the racials don't make too big a diff so I don't bother with them, but troll certainly isn't the best.
Also, single target arcane shot and serpent sting glyph parse out nearly identical, but serpent sting pulls way ahead in aoe. Additionally, putting explosive shot on CD immediately works out to be more damage than applying serpent sting first.
