@@ronaspen5758 reason beign that Hairloss is not some minor, silly condition people make it out to be, but very complicated and complex condition involving multiple genes, hormones, pathways etc. Nobody is paying anyone, thats not how bussines works lol. Big boys buy those small Companies that have potential to develop something. Why would you pay them off not to develop meds when you can buy them and make billions yourself trough them. Enough with these Big Pharma conspiracy theories.
The biggest reason for that if you experience that is more to do with losing confidence in yourself than anything. And this is what we all fear will happen but in reality once you accept your hairloss and you feel good about yourself again, seriously most women don’t care about your hairloss. There are some who do because people have different preferences but most don’t care. If you have long hair as a guy there are women who hate long hair on a man. But hair is such a small part of what makes you you. You could put all of your efforts into your looks in life and nothing else and you’ll notice that you will struggle with women, you’ll have some small experiences here and there but it can be very difficult to find any woman who’ll take you seriously as a dating partner, women care about the overall picture and they care about what you do in life, are you interesting, are you responsible, are you intelligent, are you someone who has a future. And you can look good as a bald man, being healthy is more important for looks than hair. If men were successful with women before they lost their hair they normally notice that nothing changed once they lost their hair, women still like them and don’t care about the hair. But if you struggled with hair you’ll struggle without. Plus if you let hairloss kill your confidence you let it have power over you then it’ll make a difference, that’s usually why not the actual hairloss itself. People who are mean to you about hairloss are projecting their own massive fear of hairloss usually. Also there are options for those men who just can’t be without hair, hair systems look damn good nowadays, or a hair transplant or medication if you catch it early. I know one guy who has a hair system, I knew him for 15 years without knowing that he was wearing one. There are options. And bald with a beard is a great look

I know a balding cure is one of those things that has historically be over promised but I think this time it's different. At the end of the day balding has always been genetic except for the case of chemo and burn victims. With the advent of technologies like CRISPER and the overall increase in medical technology from the pandemic I think we finally have the tools to tackle the problem head on. In the past there was never really an understanding of what causes balding it was always that some pill meant for something else increased hair growth for some patients in clinical trials. The news would pick up on this and tell the world that a cure was surely around the corner. Funny thing that people think that baldness is inevitable, when in reality it actually is preventable and manageable, the studies are out there and certainly there is a cause for it, it all comes down to your metabolism (metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance etc.) this are the culprit of even genetic hair loss, especially alopecias. @@voluntarism335 DHT isn’t the ruth problem… in order to convert testosterone to DHT you need an enzyme called 5-alpha reductase, theirs been studies where they divided 2 groups where they evaluate DHT levels, the group with AGA (androgenetic alopecia) and the other group without it and they found that DHT levels were exactly the same… conclusion: the problem isn’t DHT itself but it actually is the androgen receptors which in the people with AGA are way more sensitive, and recent studies have found that people who have AGA also presented insulin resistance… just telling us that hair loss is actually a metabolic problem and its the ruth problem… gotta study more buddy 😬🤫

Well, actually DNA could be changed, there are controversial things related to that...however, no point in doing it for the hair, no need, all we need is a drug capable of stopping this process in that very area of the scalp, or to clone the hair that isn't keen to miniaturize. Theoretically we already have these things, we have Finasteride, Minoxidil and Hair transplant, but they have clear limitation as well as side effects. If only people can control their hunger and stop eating crap (sugary foods) is the only way to prevent it.
DHT causes hair loss, get on finasteride asap
@@gio7602 Still get on finasteride to save your hair, suppressing DHT is the best thing you can do to stop hair loss

The problem is baldness is hereditary you can’t change your genetic code or dna
Crispr
crispr cas9 can be
Stemcell research ?
Well, actually DNA could be changed, there are controversial things related to that...however, no point in doing it for the hair, no need, all we need is a drug capable of stopping this process in that very area of the scalp, or to clone the hair that isn't keen to miniaturize. Theoretically we already have these things, we have Finasteride, Minoxidil and Hair transplant, but they have clear limitation as well as side effects. All we would need is keeping their effectiveness but annihilating their sides....
