I have had one of these for several years now and there is nothing on the market to touch it. Consistent perfection every time. It might seem pricey but it will soon pay for itself, especially against the cost a only a few trips to so called professional waffle franchises. Good video but please don't use metal implements when demonstrating high quality expensive non stick items as they can irreversibly damage them. Wood or plastic is advised...
Have to agree, by the time you've eaten two, you're waiting around for the next ones to cook. On the flip side, 2 waffle plates makes it quite compact and easy to store.
@@HandymanSavage Ok - my last recipe: oatmeal + milk + 2 eggs + sugar + sparkling water + butter + some cinnamon, a little bit of salt. Stir in the mixer - let stand for 3 hours and then bake.
@@HandymanSavage make ahead 2 Cups all-purpose flour (or a mix of whole wheat, or buckwheat) 2 1/2 Cups milk 2 tsp. active dry yeast powder 4 TBSP butter, melted 1-2 tsp. sugar, depending on your preference 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tps corn starch add before cooking 2 large eggs devided into yolk and white 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract mix all of first list in bowl start with liquid then slowly add dry slowly together till combined. let rise over night or till doubles when ready to cook seperate eggs beat yolks and add to batter. beat egg whites till stiff peak adding baking soda to whites while whipping just before folding into batter.
I've had waffle makers from £10 upwards to £50, with mixed results. Yes, the price is high, but this is the only waffle maker where the waffles come out perfect every time, plus there is no mess and fully automated.
Nice machine, but do the plates come out ? THAT'S what everyone is concerned about ! After a while , Waffle plates get gunked up and are almost impossible to clean. Motels have nice commercial machines, but as soon as someone used the wrong spray, they stick like hell. If the plates don't come out..... JUNK !
Been using this for a long time and not once has anything stuck to them. The electronic temperature control ensures that the waffles are done to perfection and no sticky residue is left to scrape off. I have had waffle makers that do what you say, but this Sage is next level stuff.
Dude, keep that knife away from that non-stick surface. Get some bamboo tongs

Nate the Great reviews waffle makers
Blows my mind that Breville released this in the UK under the sage brand but dropped it from a 4 to a 2 waffle version.

good - but .... you buy waffelmix? Realy? Make it by yourself, it is so easy and finally you know, what´s inside.
Go on then, give us your recipe and I'll have a go :-)

@@HandymanSavage if u want another recipe to try this is for a yeast Belgian waffle. It takes some more time but the result is amazing
@@Fbelac Thanks, like the sound of that, appreciate the recipe.

Gordon, relax with the CAPS, you'll bust a blood vessel over a waffle maker.
I shall indeed check for you next time I have a waffle.
@@HandymanSavage what's the verdict?
@@HandymanSavage so did you have a another waffle?
