I’ve never heard it called a drilling machine instead of simply a drill. My granddaughter comes with me to our monthly hot wheels swap meet. I am so happy she has a female collector to look up to and watch on UA-cam. Great work.
If you could add to the video description what type of vise you use, what type of drill machine bit (see what I did there? Lol) and any other type of equipment you use, that would be helpful to us novices. I also think even a drop of Gorilla Super Glue Gel on the drilled out screws would be better than just leaving it, yes?
Not sure how helpful this will be now, but I've found 3 to 4.5 mm works well. Though different cars have different rivets, so you've got to do some judgement yourself on what fits where
I’m sorry but I can’t not mention how stunningly beautiful you are! Good video very informative, Glad to see a female collector in the hobby having fun with 1:64s
Kind of amazing that the folks at Mattel often match the wrong wheels with a car. I also have the black 911 Porsche and the factory wheels don't do the vehicle justice at all. Another example is putting wheels with red rings on a car when it also doesn't fit the body style or colours.
@2:26 I just discover the greatest tip to remove the car out of the blister without damaging the graphics or the card itself. Pour "Nail Polish Remover" generously behind the card (by the blister area obviously) and wait a few seconds! It will come off like nothing ever happened. The card will dry out in less than a minute.
This is a great way to do it but I have another way to pop the wheels out you open the car same way, then you grab some small tweezers with like the hook shape and put it under the wheels, then push on it and pop the axle up. Then the small bits are all there so you can swap without them coming loose
I feel like if you point out that girls like cars in your channel name, it kinda emphasizes that they usually don't, which enforces the stereotype and defeats the name itself. Confusion.
I think, lot of girls like cars, more than the we think, but because of this is the stereotype they usually trained to have different interest. This should change in the future :)
What in the world! This is cool. Not a girl that collects them but drill cars!!!!!!! No way! I love it! Check it out my Raceway and tell me what you think? Have fun 👍🏽
When I want to open my Hotwheels, I just give it to my dog for a couple of minutes so he can chew the package until the car fell of. I think it's the easiest way...
I got a Track Ripper that white with black cyberpunk style stripes and red rims, I thought it look wayy better with red 5 spoke wheels but had no idea how to go about it 😅 So thanks!
You’re beautiful, and I love your accent. I wish my wife would do this, as I love Hot Wheels and collectibles. My daughter loves arts and craft and wondering one day if she’d do this. My biggest question is… Do you make money doing this? Like resell them after?
This was a neat video, I customize and restore redlines my UA-cam channel is Southpaw Diecast. My name is Scott .Do you customize Hot Wheels as well or restore old redlines?! Again great job. ❤️
To each their own, but I don't see the need for the vice or the gloves to drill and tap a 1:64 model car like a Hot Wheels car or any of the other brands that don't come with screws in their bases out of the box. To me a vice is a no no becuase you could damage the paint on the car. As long as your not running your drill at a high speed you're safe to do it in your hand and you don't want to run the drill that fast anyway becuase you run a risk of breaking your drill bit if you run it to fast into the steal most cars rivets and posts are made out of. No you don't need to cut off the axle tabs you can just take a very small standard common blade type screwdriver to push open the axle tabs then you put your new wheels and axle in the tab spot then use the same standard common blade type screwdriver to push the tab back closed as long as you'e gentle with the axle tab you will not break it.

You are a totally awesome woman! Your knowledge Hot Wheels cars is awesome, you really know what you're doing and I'm impressed, I keep watching your videos and they get better each time thank you for doing what you do and showing all of us your friend Roy!
Once you wheel swap, could you still track them? It seems some might not spin anymore, or maybe the axles will be too loose without something holding them down.

What's the name of that tool you use to hold a car while drilling it?

@@TheSavageModeler thx
Doesn’t the base just fall apart and wheels fall off without securing them with screws?
Not if you do it right if you drill the rivet just enough to where the bottom pops out. It will pop back in and stay in you never touched it
Also it depeds on the casting, some you cant pop it back on just fine, others need screws
Ajajjaaahhahahahahah... The girl`s hot wheels tuning garage have been started :) Nice! I like it!

I'll give you a tip.
If you use 100%
Acetone with a Qtip
On the back around the edges the plastic will open easy...just do half.👍🏼

3.6 m
I was just wondering where did u get the thing to hold the hot wheels car in
Did you find one? I’m asking because I want to know where did she get it from?
the thing she used to hold the cars is a watch repair case holder/vise.
You should start to sale this on ebay :)
is there a market for custom hot wheels on eBay?

Very nice job 👍🏻 I wish my wife liked Hot Wheels like you. She is always telling me I have enough 😁😆😁
hahaha, i feel you bro! :)
LOL I just realized that when you open the hot wheel you can just snap it back in

I agree with you. It's usually the wrong wheels in every car 😂. The problem is I'm so clumsy I ruined a car trying to change wheels.
easy to follow and good tutorial, thank you for sharing, I invite you to see my collection
Thank you! I will check it out! :)

Me as a Mexican man: no gloves, no holder, drill in hand.
Don't be a macho like me, I had been drilling for years since I was 17. Keep safe
so I just got into customizing Hot Wheels and I need help with what supplys I need and was wondering if you could help me. Thank You have a great day

Did you try opening your cards/blisters with acetone? Give it a try: m.ua-cam.com/video/rLQdLVbjnZQ/v-deo.html
when you put it back into the blister..the car doesn't match the picture so you can tell its been modified

How did you open the package so nicely and keep the car name text at bottom?
Good video, well explained.
What is your origin, I hear an accent......
I dont have a drill but i have a pair of screw drivers and 3 sets of glues is there a way to remove it without a drill? Just asking also great vid mam
do you actually use screws to assemble the model back together or just click/glue them?
Why do you like scars? They are not very appealing. JK, thanks for the video it's useful
Girls always love cars, but usually the real ones :))))
U need my easy jig!! From simple kustoms by Eddie Papandrea!! Checked it out on utube!!
But how did u make the holes so quick? I’m taking years 😭😭😭😭
I thought a drilling machine was used for digging holes to the center of the earth or somethin'.
Very cool video thanks! Can you tell us the name of the track? Nice song.
Pero no le pones tornillos donde taladraste los remaches? En una carrera se desarmaria
Most sellers in Ebay are doing this and putting the cars back into the card.
Do you have a link to the little black "vice" box
Seriously.....🙄
@@TheFeralKid check on Ebay "jewelry vice" or something similar and youll find it. Gluck

Hi mam i have a doubt . I was broken the base of the car how to make a base. Please reply.
Awesome. Have you done a wheel swap with a metal base or under body?
When swapping wheels from other cars how do you get them to not wiggle/ slide around on the axle

Hello again! You could use this method to unpack your models gently ua-cam.com/video/MYvF50fjXx4/v-deo.html
Where did you get that clamp for the car?
I would wear goggles too. Protect your eyes.
You don’t rivet back together?
That’s what I was wondering. Surely it just falls apart
Omega Metro I’ve heard people use super glue or tap n screw
i was wondering too, it still unclear
Question for you what is the black piece that you use to hold the hot wheel cars together when you are placing the wheels
It is a special watch holder.
She takes too long stop talking and go!!!
Todo muy bien pero muy acaparadora
Once you wheel swap, could you still track them? It seems some might not spin anymore, or maybe the axles will be too loose without something holding them down.
The gold wheels on the Tesla look like 💩!
Nice 👍 cars wow 👏👏👏👏 me too cars
Where did you purchase the wheels ?
Try using acetone it loosens the glue that holds the blister pack to the card . No witness marks.
I can fully recommend this. I only open my cars like this. You also can use some nail polish cleaner. As long as there is acetone in it.
I think she mentioned she knew about this...I guess she prefers this method.
