      It is not worth it. It will always take you down. Sometimes it takes longer for others, but it will happen. Some people are like, oh o can get high and keep a job and still live life so I'm not an addict. It just takes longer for the drugs to rip those people down. And speaking from experience, it's harder to come out of it when you're a "functioning addict". It's just so not worth it man trust me. The hardest thing in the world is to get clean but it's either that or death. We recovering addicts have a saying, addiction leads to 3 possible outcomes, jails, institutions (psychwards, nut houses, etc) and death. There's no other outcome. Before I was an addict I was warned by so many people that you may think you can just try it or do it just a few times but you will get addicted, and if you've never done the drug or the way you're doing it (snorting, shooting, etc) than do not start. I didn't listen cuz I thought I was different. But it's this simple, if you haven't done it yet, don't start. And if you have started, literally stop right this second. It only gets harder every second that passes, and every second that passes you are making your life and everyone's around you terrible. Your chances of dying and/or getting some kind of disease increase by the thousands every second that passes when you're in addictive addiction.
      I pray you never touch any of it. It is not worth it. No matter how much those evil demons try to convince you other wise. Drugs like heroin will make you do things you never would've done before. Like stealing from family or your significant other, robbing people and places, hurting or even killing someone. It might sound like a stretch but that's because you haven't been there yet. Trust me when I say that the drugs will make you someone you're not and make you do things youd never do.
      God bless you and I hope you have the best life possible

      Weed is all you need man. Hard drugs feel great but in the end you're miserable. Real life can't compete with how great these drugs feel and life becomes miserable and bland. Don't do hard drugs

      Be proud about being straight edge, not self conscious. I know when you're younger it's seen as the more drugs and alcohol you do, the cooler you are. Well trust me, you'll see when you graduate high school(sometimes even before then), immediately all those cool kids become losers and all the straight edge people who actually put effort and care into things not only become the cool kids, they also become the good looking, popular, and succesful ones too. It's ALWAYS better to be a late bloomer than an early one. The worst thing you can do in life is peak in highschool and those be the best years of your life. Life done even really begin till after high school so don't burn yourself out too early. You'll be glad you kept cool at a young age.

      @Cool Breeze You're right. We should make dope illegal and throw people in jail. That will solve our problems. Or we could do like Portugal did and decriminalize all drugs, get addicts help and watch teen pregnancy, HIV and drug addiction plummet. But no. Let's just throw people in jail. Fucking liberals in Portugal fixing problems with medical care and compassion.

    • @dogperson743
      @dogperson743 4 роки тому +3

      Cool Breeze because right now the way society is set up we encourage addicts to become harder criminals by taking away there options. You will never get rid of addiction but if society was set up in a more empathetic way with a stronger focus on reform an recovery instead of punishment we would be much better off. I know it probably sounds radical but we’ve just kind of been conditioned to think punishment is a good road to go down but if you think about it there’s really no logical reason for society to be set up that way and we just breed more violence by having the attitudes we do now.
