Thank you for keeping parts of the video where things weren't going to plan at the beggining. You could have easily edited those parts out but I think it's great you kept them in. Could definitely help someone out in the future looking into something similar. Great video, keep it up!
Funny thing is it's actually harder to edit things out, but for some reason, people like to edit out all the mistakes and speed things up. Personally, I feel those are the most important parts. Things don't always go as planned and the viewers need to know that. Even if you know what you're doing and are an expert, things won't always go perfectly.
Problem is, most people like to seem like experts and don't want mistakes to make them look like they don't know what they're doing. It's silly...
@@ItsBinhRepaired Well said! That's exactly what I meant. Really no need to put up a front. These are the kind of things that actually teach you about what you're doing and making yourself look perfect is just not sincere at all. Thank you for your input and wish you the best of luck with everything!
@@smonkulf yup, thanks!
The readings when the polarity is reversed is likely because the current is flowing through the body diode. Many mosfets have them between source and drain.
Interesting thing is when I swapped it back, it stopped getting a reading again.
sorry for my comment,
those transistors are sucking the heat from its wide ground pads, you might need higher temp to melt the solder
Yup, that's why I increased the temp, but you have to be careful. The components can only take so much heat.
Very informative! Thanks!
No problem. Hope it helps.
bmw having electrical issue, classic
Lol
Before even watching .. Mosfets right ??
Yup lol
You didn't read the title?
You don't know how to measure mosfet's??? Really??? Leave it to professionals!!!!
Lol Either way it was fixed.
