HID in a reflector headlight will give poor output and glare other drivers. Try to do a proper HID retrofit job, you'll be very satisfy with its result
Was that a factory mb nav radio? Planning on doing this but very strongly considering a tablet install instead of a deck or an Android powered deck or maybe a factory unit of they came with one.. Which would be cool

I know it's an old comment, but I think that you can't. The W140 came equipped with GPS screen, but only the Japanese models. The controls for the climate are integrated in the same unit.
@@E34Benzin you are right i would fit one of those but the radio doesnt work in uk however if i moved the buttons above the climate down to the parking sensor area similar to those japanese cars and then fitted the command from a ml320 and moved the climate above i think it would work but not sure if it would look ok. the reason for using the ml command is it has a simpler way of connecting to the car than w210 w208 command, for uk cars anyway

Where did you find the AUX port? Did it come with the Comand radio? Was it difficult to install the AUX port?

How long did this process take? Can you make a video demonstrating how the navigation works?
How did you connect the AUX cable? Straight into the comand unit?

There is a separate cable that goes from the head unit, With aux output

@@raycroal If you made your own custom surroinding trim with wood finish it would look almost stock, but that's not easy.

AlanMcYou ur original wood trip is different size and won't work , you can buy the trim on eBay , but I would also recommend to buy a bracket ,
