What is the avg service cost ?
what about brake noise issue?
Owner has not faced any brake noise issue as yet. But generally, in the winter time, when brakes are cold in the morning, they do make some noise. It's normal, there is nothing wrong with that.
Because as soon as the brakes warm up again, the noise will go away.

dont know why people dont understand 1.0 turbo is 1.6 NA power wise
You have cars like nexon, i20 which offer 1.2 turbo then and are significantly cheaper
It’s not about how fast you go, but how you go fast. Both the NA and Turbo engines produce power differently. NA engines are generally more rev happy, have good lower end, flat midrange but may produce great high end power (Vtec). Most 1.0 ltr Turbo engines are plagued with turbo lag under 2000 RPM but have a good midrange and provide diesel like acceleration but the trade off is more maintenance and more wear and tear to the engine in the long run. You have to follow idle start rule with turbos engine.
Turbos are generally preferred because of the usable power. But that doesn’t mean NA engines are thing of the past and can be equally as fun to drive.

I just talked to the owner of the car and he says that he is not aware of an AC issue in his car. The AC of the kushaq is working perfectly good for him

1.0 or 1.5 which one to buy for hills
1.0 is more than sufficient. Only go for 1.5 if you are an enthusiast and are looking for tuning the car in the future (in my opinion)

How are these owners not talking about the ac issues at all, not addressing an elephant in the room.
I talked to the owner of this car. He said that he has not faced any kind of AC issue in his car.

Engine coating is just an anti rodent spray that they do on the engine bay

That is the one expense that automatic has in the long run. Other than that, nothing much
5-6k for first service wow. Very expensive
so the service interval is 15k kms rather than 10 of any other Indian car. reliability is much more. cost comes down to marginally higher than other cars. But that is not as bad thing as other cars have many more problems.

VW and Skoda are both similar. In terms of build quality, they are one of the leading manufacturers.
Although, Tata is know for its safety. They produce one of the safest cars on the road.
I would say that, VW and Skoda make safe cars that have premium quality as well. Whereas, tata makes safe cars with mediocre to good quality.

Yes hyundai too has respectable safety compared to other brands.
For example, Baleno scored 0 stars in crash test whereas the i20 had got 3 stars.
