@@ganeshkrishnan4021 by design Skoda's unlock system works a particular way.. Once the car gets auto locked while you start moving the car. To unlock either passenger can press unlock button or they can double pull the door open lever to unlock.

If you love driving and you need a safe car,you can go with Kushaq. Maybe you have to compromise on small things here and there.
Skoda: Service is too high. I am using Rapid Diesel. Last month service cost around 17k Rs. Even it was less maintenance. Service was poor. They damaged my car door. They didn't inform me. I found and asked them after that they accepted it and repair my Rapid. But Vehicle is awesome. We cannot compare any vehicle with Rapid. Because the luxury Skoda surviving in India. If Skoda does make the service cost affordable, they can create huge margin in India market. Nowadays people, like premium and luxury.

Ok this is an honest review
I had a two day solo trip to yercaud. From Chennai the round trip came close to almost 800 (780kms as per the car trip reading). The mileage from start till I reached yercaud )including mountain climb was 18.4 kmpl (my driving style is purely tactical and speeding) I was constantly clocking 150-160 for 20 kms after 20kms of cruising at 78. I was clocking 150 whenever there was a free road. While coming back to Chennai the average was 17 (including climbing down the mountain). I reached Chennai in just 4:15 hrs clocking 160 for as long as possible and cruise at 60 when there is traffic or other factors.
What is the mileage u r getting in city drive
This is something that I can't accept without factual data. Drove Taigun 1.0 AT 700+ kms Sakleshpur to Coimbatore, crusing between 90 to 110 and got a mileage of not more than 15. I'm somebody who doesn't go hard on foot unless there is a real need, and bare sedate driving style mostly.

Door lock is an issue as user told, but punch and Altroz has it worse than this. Here it's 2 time pull, there it's just 1 pull and door opens. Tata s deadly idea :)
they say its for emergency time we have to open n go so sometimes i feel its good sometimes its not. even my aspire car having door unlock at any speed
@@kimyangKo Yes but a small lock button next to door knob also is safer i feel (Honda/Hyundai/Suzuki/Toyota - all of them have it for decades)

Spending 17 Lakhs, Giving below 10 kmpl mileage and not comfortable for 5 adults, what reasons we should buy this car, As a middle class these are two major factors people will see while choosing the car.

Mileage is a big issue in city. 8-12 On highway it is good getting 20 with ac in long drive some times little more

While taking user reviews, it's better to restrict the users to share their views on what made them go for their choice instead of mocking other vehicles brands which indirectly offends many users. Everyone have different requirements in terms of style, performance, brand ,mileage etc., Which is totally subjective. What works for me, may not work for someone else. Just my Humble opinion.

@@suranderrulzz You will not enjoy driving in Automatic mode on highways. Need to switch to manual and use peddal shifters for overtaking.

@@vssunilkumar Yeah true, Torque converter has it own perks but nothing can match the raw power of manual transmission in Highways. People who hits highways more than city would prefer Manual only. CVT are more suitable for city commute as you said but in my opinion IVT is much better than traditional CVT engine.
3 star rating is not due to overall build but because of poor reinforcements in vehicle front which provides poor leg protection to driver and passenger, Hyundai and Kia should work on this issue in upcoming versions

I have a XUV300 w8 disel it's onroad is 14.53lak. it's seriously worth for the money .. main thing is safety of the vehicle and it had all options .but design wise it's quite outdated
xuv300 is definitely good car but Mahindra need to redesign for better boot space .
interior is really like a car from 2000 and the touch screen seems like after market android so i wont say it's worth the price but yeah engine and suspension is really good but not 14L worth sry to say this. And when you say safety rating always remember it was valid only for 60-70km/hr so one should not be over confident over it, i'm not point this to you but in general.

Lock unlock is supposed to be a safety feature. No one should be able to open the car from outside and also the passenger should be able to open the door from inside if they want-- kidnap safe.

My opinion Kushaq has poor quality build up
And few complaints from my friends about sheet metal quality that is why I denied kushaq. And investing 17L for 3 cylinders engine is a bad choice that is also major reason I denied.

Agree with you they compromised plastic quality fit and finish compared to their previous vag cars..but definetly far better than their rivals.. The roof of vw groups are raser welded.. anti scratch plastics..under chasis painting .. 3 years paint warranty.. Paint quality is best in segment...better ride quality... Better suspension... Better brakes compared to rivals..it has problems like epc error door noise.. but it's been fixed by dealer.. They are working on ac issue.. Which will be fixed by them soon..i rejected all the other cars because of these reason..i was a proud owner of polo..the quality of kyshaq is bit low compared to polo but not with their rivals... Please test other rivals like mg Astor creta and seltos door.. You will feel it.. They have study touch in interiors but it's of rexin materials. Which will peel off soon.. Check after 4 years.

Creta and Seltos far more VFM than kushaq (my opinion) if going for smaller body is the main aspect, then c-suv would be ideal choice :(
If you dont need driving dynamics creta Or seltos is VFM. When you love driving and doesn't care about features kushaq is best. It is one of a kind machine there is nothing like this in market right now except it's sibling. I already own a kushaq
@@kaviarasu11107 bro... German feel is long gone in the kushaq tbh. No offense though. Quality n feel in nowadays productions are being hampered in the name of cost cutting. Also, don't forget it's 3 cylinder 1L engine for 17lakhs and u will get max 8-9kmpl on average.

@@TheAero94 3 or 4 cylinders, it doesn't matter here at all because it literally flies on highways, giving the feel of getting down from a flight, without any tired, at the destination. The design coordination and refinement are awesome. Still the German quality is felt, in fact, much better than the previous 2 generations of Skoda Rapid, except the better stability of Rapid, due to its lower COG.

He left Creta out of options coz it was 3 star and he went for a car which never went for NCAP :D .. Payed 17L for a 3 cylinder car which AC doesn't perform well and has very poor interior. And a poor after sales. Compared a 1.4L NA engine with 1.0 L turbo :D Biased review from User feels like he is from T-Bhp :D He is telling there is no body roll in SUV :D even a x6 will have that :D

For a solo ride and ride with friends no one cares about speed and mileage end of the month when you realize I spent so much in petrol for this month you will be thinking to maintain the mileage and will start drive slowly and gently.when you have lot of money to spend in petrol you can drive without thinking.

I am sonet htx diesel manual owner, I will tell the story of my case I bought the car in feb 2022 . I have a issue in my front two door ( hearing a air noise while cruising around 50km without music or ac turned on even in city and in highway it’s heavy [ it disturbs you a lot ]. They[service/sales] are accepting the noise, but not replacing the door or car till now . Still it is in inspection with Kia technical team. They have driven my vehicle for 1200 km [6000 km as of now] and still have not identified where the noise is exactly from. I drove 2019 model Kia sonet and it did not had any issues, they are not accepting/owning anything. I am still yet to get a answer from them it is almost 3months, I have been I would suggest you to take venue for a test drive . And think about it . I am not sure if venue is having any issues. I suggest you to do a proper PDI and as much as test drive possible before taking the vehicle.

Kushaq for driveability and dynamics but interior quality is not good. Astor for premium interior and good build quality and not a sportier engine but adequate power.
