She had a longtime friend named Sherman, who also grew up in Mississippi. Sherman's speech patterns i.e, the way he talked was exactly like Hoke from _"Driving Miss Daisy."_ Except, unlike the movie character, Sherman could read.

      hey .... the problem with religious people nowadays is that the underlying patterns that cause a person to be religious or be stuck in a period of development that's still in "magical thinking" ( prior to developing reason or an intuitive understanding of 'cause and effect ) are replaced with something that they feel as "divine", which are the patterns of a person that has developed way beyond that. But they reinterpret it in terms of their reason, which is magical - "god","angels" etc . Those people are sometimes people in prison or social activists labeled as "terrorists", so their patterns become targets , yet because their development was natural , intelligent and without blockages, they "give" it to people who are labeled as "not-a-problem" .'

      YES, THEY'RE BANKING ON THAT NOW AREN'T THEY ?
      This is also another, in fact the fourth REPEAT of the same VIDEO CLIPS FROM other National Geographic VIDEOS employing Morgan Freeman; Of course he's a great narrator, and probably also a great "person" of ethical candor...BUT THIS IS BECOMING CLICK BAIT IN BEHALF OF NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC PRODUCERS. This is not a good practice to INVENT DIFFERENT TITLES JUST TO ENCOURAGE VIEWS TO WATCH YOUR SAME OLD CLIPS AGAIN, now is it ? Is that not considered to be somewhere between " false advertising" and "deception?"
      AS I SAID, NOT INDICATIVE OF NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC'S NORMAL MODE OF OPERANDI.

    This was brilliant. I am a geologist and always struggle with creation on cosmic and religious levels. Also that regions are used as arguments to start war...I love what Morgen said at the end "we don't share the same creation story, but our beliefs don't have to divide us they can bring us together." ...if everyone on Earth was forced to watch and understand the message in this documentary, there might be more understanding and less war.

    • @sandrabentley8111
      @sandrabentley8111 2 роки тому +9

      Most wars are not started with religion. There are just evil people in the world who hate others. Due mostly to ignorance. Color of a person's skin, ethnicity, greed for power on and on.
      As God said in the old testament "they were born evil". Genesis 6:5 The Lord saw that the human beings on the earth were very wicked and that everything they thought about was evil. 6 He was sorry he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. 7 So the Lord said, “I will destroy all human beings that I made on the earth. And I will destroy every animal and everything that crawls on the earth and the birds of the air, because I am sorry I have made them.” 8 But Noah pleased the Lord.
      Religion gives people hope.

Meaning we're all different for a reason and it's our differences which will help us grow together. Should we do what were meant to and choose to unite.

    Morgan Freeman is absolutely exceptional in this documentary!!!! I had the same thing go on with me at such an early age,almost as if I was born with it, where my mind would already have part of an answer maybe not all of it but part of it, like knowing Woolly Mammoths and Elephants were some how linked, connected, came from one another with out even knowing about evolution, I identified where I stood on this subject back in highschool I believe in creationism and evolutionism, see God created everything God created us and gave us the minds to create science, science and the bible go hand and hand, science is nothing but the explanation of how God did it, but there are some things that science can not explain to this day and that's what I call a miracle and God just doing what he does, the unexplainable to show you he is still the reason, the being, the end, and even the in between!

      We all have the experiences of many lives in our souls,we have been here so many times before. We are all energy and our bodies are only a vessel that is holding our consciousness. I believe that we keep some of that knowledge and it’s the same reason why some people are always smarter than others. It’s the same reason why some people are called old souls,you may just have been through the journey more times.😊

When we die we will pass on to the 2nd death into the lake of fire if we are not born again Romans chapter 10 versus 9 through 13 and if we are born again, we will pass from death to life And be eternally with our heavenly father and worship Jesus for eternity

    "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." ~ Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made." ~ John 1:1-3 "By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and by the breath of his mouth all their host." ~ Psalm 33:6 "For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the Lord made the heavens." ~ Psalm 96:5 "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible." ~ Hebrews 11:3
    Asking that "if God made the world, so who made God?" That's an illogical question, it is like asking "If the baker baked a cake, so who baked the baker?" The Scriptures clearly teach that God is a Spirit and He is eternal outside of the bounds of time, matter and space. The Bible has all the answers to the questions to this series of The Story of God, but it is whether people are going to accept the answers it gives or not. Blessed are those who believe, for without faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.(Hebrews 11:6)
    For those out there searching for the truth, I challenge you to study the Bible, study to listen to what it's saying, not what you want it to say. For it is the only personal revelation of the true God.
